In a quiet and beautiful residential area near Gottskär on the Onsala peninsula, this pleasantly furnished apartment is located on the ground floor of the owner's house. Here you live close to the sea and cliffs. At the boundary of the plot, there is a small, cozy path where you can make your way down to the rocks with a picnic basket filled with goodies that can be enjoyed with a magical sea view.
The apartment has large windows with blinds and curtains so you can easily keep the heat and the sun out during the day. A large and spacious living room in combination with a dining area and a smaller open kitchen with an induction stove with 4 plates, oven, cooker hood, microwave and coffee maker and dishwasher. There is also a kitchen island here for relief. A cozy sofa bed for two, of a high standard, nicely placed in the innermost part and a TV that can be turned both towards the dining area and the sofa. Inside there is a cozy bedroom (no window) with a double bed, 180 cm. Adjacent to the bedroom is a wardrobe for storing suitcases and clothes. Adjacent to the kitchen area is a fully tiled bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
As the surroundings are bicycle-friendly, we would like to advise you to bring bicycles. You can easily both walk and cycle down to the harbor in Gottskär to have a bite to eat at one of the restaurants. Here there is also a very nice swimming area called Utholmen, where there is both a jumping tower, a sandy beach, a jetty with a ladder and lovely hills with grass to run on.
Gothenburg and Liseberg can be reached by car within 40 minutes and in the same time you can get to Varberg. Kungsbacka is only 20 minutes from the accommodation and here you can find the Kungsmässan, Hede Fashion Outlet and many different shops and restaurants.
A perfect accommodation for family, friends or couples. For those who like to paddle a canoe, kayak or SUP, there are many nice bays to discover.

A true summer paradise! Halland offers lovely beaches, beautiful nature, charming towns and good shopping. Kungsbacka has a small town feel yet still offers a wide selection of shops and restaurants. There are many great deals to be found in the Freeport shopping centre in Kungsbacka. A journey through historic grandeur awaits at Tjolöholm, a castle built in Tudor style at the end of the 19th century.
The area's fantastic shallow sandy beaches are the main attraction for many visitors during the summer period. The most popular beaches in Halland are Tylösand, Mellbystrand, Skreastrand and Apelviken.
Varberg, the pearl of Sweden's west coast, is a popular tourist destination in the area. Many Swedes visit Varberg for a holiday or a long weekend break. Varberg offers lovely beaches, an exciting historical fortress and a lively market around the small town square. Apelviken, the largest of the beaches, is one of Europe's best locations for windsurfing and kitesurfing, so put your board under your arm and enjoy the action!

Falkenberg has no less than 15 km of sandy beaches, offering everything from the popular Skreastrand beach, with its activities and After Beach entertainment, to quiet inlets where bathers can enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere.
There are more than 500 lakes and many nice rivers in Halland. In other words, canoeing is a popular attraction in the area. So why not paddle up the Nissan rIver or go fishing for salmon in the Ätran rIver, a popular salmon fishing location. If you feel like going on an exciting sea fishing trip, you can hop on board in Falkenberg harbour.
A number of cycling and hiking trails wind their way through Halland. One tip for an active family day out is to hike a couple of sections of the Hallandsleden trail, or to hop on your bikes and ride a stretch of the Cykelspåret cycling trail.
A visit to the Gekås superstore in Ullared, Sweden's most visited shopping centre, is an absolute must! On the way there or back you can also stop at the Ätran river, a popular salmon fishing spot.
Halmstad is a popular destination during the summer, although there is also plenty to do and see in the city during the winter, with a wide selection of stores, restaurants and bars. There are a number of nice beaches in the area, the most popular of which is probably Tylösand. "Wonderland" is a popular playground attraction for families with children.
Laholm is a charming little town close to the well-known coastal resorts of Mellbystrand and Skummeslövstrand. The Lagan river is the best recreational fishing location for salmon and trout fishing. On the Hallandsås horst you can enjoy walking in the lovely beech woods. In the winter, Laholm is Sweden's southernmost ski resort.

The midsummer party in Sweden is truly unique. To many it is a symbol of the lightness, the light and the life force symbolic of the Nordic summer. Midsummer in Sweden is the biggest celebration of solstice in Scandinavia.
When the most Swedish of Swedish parties approach, the whole country is exited. Midsummer is traditionally a feast celebrated with family and friends, but if you are a tourist you are welcome to join the festivities. It is celebrated all over the country - by the coast, in the skerries, by idyllic lakes, in the mountains or one of the islands. All is good, as long as there is plenty of pristine and diverse nature around.
Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation by post. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement and contains all necessary information. On the first page you will find information the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a route description. At the bottom of the page there is a detachable post card for ordering miscellaneous extras, which can be useful to have while on holiday. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due date.
On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key. More often than not electricity, water and other charges are included in the rental amount. Where this is not the case you will also receive an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.
If you wish to rent a boat or engine however, you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.
Time of arrival Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences. If you expect to arrive at a different time please arrange this with the contact person in advance. Contact information can be found on your rental agreement.
On the detachable post card at the bottom of the rental agreement, miscellaneous extras can be ordered - however only those stated in the description of your holiday home.
All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can in some places be rented.
On the post card you can also order the final cleaning, if this is mentioned in the description of your holiday home.
All extras must be ordered in conjunction with sending the notice of arrival no less than 14 days before commencement of the rental period. If you wish to rent a boat or engine however you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.
If you have rented a holiday home in which pets are permitted please remember that it is a lengthy and quite difficult process to obtain all necessary permits for the import of pets to Sweden. Therefore please contact the Swedish Tourist Board or embassy well in advance.
If you have booked a holiday home in Sweden you can either go via Copenhagen across the Øresund Bridge or take a ferry. The bridge toll is 225,- Danish Kroner/crossing. If you choose to go by ferry please remember to order your tickets well in advance.
