About the holiday home

Nice house with a rural location and scenic surroundings outside Brålanda. Ideal for a relaxing holiday with a good location to discover this beautiful part of the country.

Spacious kitchen with amenities such as dishwasher and separate laundry room with washing machine. Lovely light and the entire lower floor was renovated in 2025. On the lower floor there is also one bedroom with a comfortable double bed. Bathroom with toilet and shower. Up the stairs you have the upper floor with a cozy living area and smart TV. Here you also have the second bedroom with two single beds.

Outside you have a nice terrace with gas grill and outdoor furniture where you can sit down with a beautiful view of the surrounding fields. It is shared with the owner, who lives in the house next door, but there are trees in between and the backs of the houses face each other. If you want to take a dip in the lake, there is a swimming area about 8 km away, why not bring your picnic and spend part of the day there.

If you want to discover nature in the area, there is, for example, Ecopark Halle-Hunneberg about 30 km away, a popular nature area perfect for hiking and cycling. Here you can also see the king of the forest in the wild if you are lucky. Within easy reach you can also go to Vänersborg on the shores of Lake Vänern with its cozy atmosphere and many experiences within reach. Warm welcome!

Before the holiday

Rental agreement and route description

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation by post. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement and contains all necessary information. On the first page you will find information the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a route description. At the bottom of the page there is a detachable post card for ordering miscellaneous extras, which can be useful to have while on holiday. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due date.

On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key. More often than not electricity, water and other charges are included in the rental amount. Where this is not the case you will also receive an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.

Notice of arrival

If you wish to rent a boat or engine however, you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.

Time of arrival Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences. If you expect to arrive at a different time please arrange this with the contact person in advance. Contact information can be found on your rental agreement.

Extras

On the detachable post card at the bottom of the rental agreement, miscellaneous extras can be ordered - however only those stated in the description of your holiday home.

All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can in some places be rented.

On the post card you can also order the final cleaning, if this is mentioned in the description of your holiday home.

All extras must be ordered in conjunction with sending the notice of arrival no less than 14 days before commencement of the rental period. If you wish to rent a boat or engine however you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.

Pets

If you have rented a holiday home in which pets are permitted please remember that it is a lengthy and quite difficult process to obtain all necessary permits for the import of pets to Sweden. Therefore please contact the Swedish Tourist Board or embassy well in advance.

Ferry connections and bridge crossings

If you have booked a holiday home in Sweden you can either go via Copenhagen across the Øresund Bridge or take a ferry. The bridge toll is 225,- Danish Kroner/crossing. If you choose to go by ferry please remember to order your tickets well in advance.
