“Fyrtårnet som ligger ret tæt med virkelig flot udsigt - også hvis man ikke går op i tårnet. Tegners Museum, gribende skulpturer som kan imponere både børn og voksne. 100 meter fra Netto i Gilleleje ligger den flotteste badebro. Ellers prøv at køre ned af småvejene mod stranden - så oplever man altid noget flot dansk natur og lidt vind i håret.”

“Huset er ret slidt, men virkelig god pris. Der er hvad der skal bruges i huset - dog en stor gryde UDEN HÅNDTAG og pander, som er mere bulede end en man ville bruger på et lejrbål. Ret god senge, og annekset virkelig hyggeligt. Der kunne godt være en hylde eller to på badeværelset.”

About the holiday home

Close to the beautiful North Zealand coast you will find this completely renovated holiday cottage on a plot with landscaped garden. The house was built in a charming style with all the furnishings from 2007. Terrace where the sun and the warm summer evenings can be enjoyed. The decor is charming and stylish with a kitchen/family room with a wood-burning stove which gives a good spread heat throughout the house. In addition to kitchen and bathroom there are 3 bedrooms with 2 double beds and an extra bed. The house also has an annex. North Zealand is an attractive holiday area with beautiful beaches and charming fishing villages. Along the northern coast of Zealand you will find child-friendly beaches and towns with interesting sights and experiences, e.g. Kronborg Castle in Elsinore, one of the most beautiful renaissance castles in Scandinavia. The castle is known from Shakespeare's play about Hamlet. During the summer, especially Gilleleje is an attractive town with marked days, cultural events and harbour parties.

Beautiful scenery and great experiences

The landscape in North and East Zealand is very varied. In lush, green North Zealand the scenery alternates between undulating, open landscapes, vast forests and large lakes. Here, you will find beautiful Arresø, which is Denmark's largest lake. To the west, the region is bordered by the Isefjord and Roskilde Fjord with their gentle fjord landscapes and low-lying meadows. Along the coast of North Zealand, you can enjoy some of Zealand's most beautiful coastlines and best beaches, including those of Hornbæk and Gilleleje. Along the Øresund coast, you´ll have great views across the Sound to Sweden. The water in the Sound is more calm than in the Kattegat off Northern Zealand, which is why this is a good place to find child-friendly beaches for swimmming. These include Køge Bay and Faxe Bay in Eastern Zealand.

In Eastern Zealand, you´ll find Stevns Klint, a 12 km.- long cliff that is up to 41 meters high in places. The cliff was formed over 65 million years ago. For history buffs, North and East Zealand also offer a chance to visit the many royal castles, which were built throughout the ages by Danish kings.
