About the holiday home

Cosy both inside and out:
Here at Parallelvej 11, the homeowner is really good at creating space for cozy moments for his guests! The house's kitchen/family room is really charming with an open kitchen in connection with the large dining and TV room, where there is ample opportunity to stretch out on the large sofa while playing cards at the table and cooking in the kitchen. In extension of this room is the large conservatory, from which you can access the house's large courtyard, which has no less than 7 cozy corners, so there is plenty of opportunity to find a place in the sun! The house has a distribution hallway with toilet, bathroom and three double rooms - one even with a standing sauna.

The house also has a lovely utility room with washing machine and dryer.

The house is non-smoking and youth groups are not allowed.

Plenty of opportunity to find a place in the sun:
As mentioned, there are 7 oases in the courtyard, one of which is called the stress-free zone. This is evidence of the attitude that it should be cozy to stay at Parallelvej 11. The courtyard is screened off from the road, so that you have privacy in the rooms. There is plenty of personality in the house, as the homeowner himself uses the home several times a year, and is happy to invite you inside when the house is still vacant. The beach, shopping opportunities and the city center are within a radius of about 1 kilometer. Parking options are of course no problem and are located directly in front of the house.

• Rebooking is allowed once within the same reservation year.

• A refundable deposit may be required before arrival to cover consumption and any additional services. The final costs are based on actual consumption, and any remaining amounts are refunded within 21 days after check-out.

• Forgotten items will be returned for postage plus a handling fee of 150 DKK.

• Check-in is from 4:00 PM, and check-out is no later than 10:00 AM.

• Keys are collected and returned via the on-site key box.

• Guests under 18 years of age are not permitted to rent the property. Smoking is prohibited.

Løkken has various sights, a great beach and a vibrant nightlife. Løkken Strand is unique - for besides its white, fine sand and clean water you will both find the White Town and bunkers from World War 2 on the 19 km long sandy beach. During the summer you can see the many white beach houses on the beach, a beautiful sight. According to rules and tradition, the houses must be white and are therefore known as the White Town. The beach is also perfect for various activities, e.g. ball games, kite flying, splashing in the ocean or just enjoying the sun on a relaxing day.

The beer is made according to tradition and a visit here is a very special experience - whether you like beer or not. For the children, a visit to the hard candy maker is a must. Rental agreement and directions

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement containing all necessary information. On the first page you will find information about the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a directions on how to find the house. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due dates.

On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key as well as an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses (electricity, heating, water, etc.) are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.

Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you can not reach your destination until eg. late evening, our local offices will be closed. Therefore please contact us in time to make arrangements with regards to the key and the deposit. Extras

All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils, duvets and pillows necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can be rented at the local office or online, if you prefer not to bring these items yourselves.

When you book a baby cot, please note that we can not guarantee space for the cot in the master bedroom. If the house description say there is a cot in the house and you only need one, booking is unnecessary.

You can also book delivery of the extras you rent. This way you do not need to drive several times between the holiday home and local office.

Please note that in high season, extras might be sold out. Therefore we recommend you to always book extras and final cleaning when booking your holiday home.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
