When Valdemar discovered the relationship, he forced Liden Kirsten to dance until she died. She was buried at Vestervig Cemetery. Prince Buris was blinded, castrated and chained to the church wall just beside Liden Kirsten's grave. When he died, he was buried in the same grave as Liden Kirsten.
Aalborg Golf Course
The country's second oldest golf club offers you golfing in beautiful surroundings plus fine dining in the restaurant.
This monastery was founded in the 11th century and was home to 8 Benedictine nuns. But the main building was in fact 'only' a breeding farm - the nuns lived in Sebber Church. After it ceased to be a monastery, it was passed on to many owners - the last and current family, the Tesdorps, bought it in 1958 and has since added, for example, a golf course. In 2006, it was renovated so it can now be rented out for weddings, corporate events or ordinary family gatherings.
