About the holiday home

This holiday home in the Ardennes has 2 bedrooms. It is ideal for a small family. In the beautiful, green garden you can enjoy a day in the Ardennes!

The holiday home is within walking distance of the attractive center of the famous Durbuy (200 m). Here you can grab a terrace. Do you like some sportiness during your holiday? Then you are also in the right place here. The area is of course perfect for walking and cycling trips, but you can also go canoeing and golf.

The cosily furnished house has a flat-screen TV, a dining area and a fitted kitchen with an oven and an electric stove. The 2 bedrooms are comfortably furnished. The bathroom has a bathtub. You can also enjoy a delicious barbecue in the summer, because the barbecue is ready. Under the house is a garage. Free WiFi is available.

The holiday home is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

“The location is great, the cottage itself is very cozy. It could have been a bit cleaner. Cobwebs in the curtains many stains on the floor. The kitchen (including cutlery and glasses) needs to be replaced in my opinion. It is best to keep the closet in the master bedroom. This cupboard is so musty you almost pass out. It really needs to be replaced.”

“Check-in was good in Somme Leuze. The surroundings are very beautiful, Durbuy is beautifully situated in a valley. The cottage is very beautiful uphill, just outside Durbuy at a 300 meter walk from the center. Up the stairs to the front door 1 step was broken, this is dangerous and apparently this has been the case for some time. To our displeasure, the house had not been properly cleaned, there were still dog hair / dust everywhere. We even vacuumed, dusted etc. In addition, the roller blind of the bathroom was broken, there was mold on the walls in the bathroom and bedroom. In the garden next to the house were 3 dog shit and 3 full garbage bags in the driveway. The first impression of the house was therefore not good. But we have made it a nice holiday together. But the house is in dire need of a good cleaning and maintenance (chairs, sofa, mattress, bed, kitchen, curtain, aeration system due to mold).”

“Location really perfect, a three minute walk from Durbuy. House is fine, we have had some wonderful and relaxing days. Obviously room for improvement points. For example, you sit on garden furniture, you can not shower standing and the wardrobe door can hardly open because it comes against the bed.”

“The cottage is located at a perfect distance from Durbuy. A lot of privacy. Good base for cycling and hiking. A very cold house, on arrival it was freezing cold in the house. There is no small sun at the house. In bedroom at night a continuous buzzing of the air ventilation. The garage under the house is nice, space enough to put the bikes well away.”

“The location of this house is top notch. The house is built against the hill so the house is above the garage and you have to go to the front door with a staircase. The part of the garden where you can sit comfortably is downstairs and is located to the right of the house. For us this was no problem we have delicious "BBQ" t (everything is present) and outside. The pictures are true to reality, the cottage is modern and has a nice atmosphere.Pretty is that there is not really comfort, the cushions on the seats in the living room (actually garden set) are sat and the 2 bed has a hard (old) mattress. We ourselves had taken chair cushions for the garden chairs and were very happy with them, we used them for outside but also for binnen.Durbuy is very nice, there are many types of restaurants for a quick bite, cozy lounchen or just a bit more luxurious eating out it is all there.Walking, cycling, canoeing, midget golf, caves viewing it is all nearby.Bedding can be done in the morning at the bakery downstairs but for further shopping you have to go by car . You read everywhere that shopping here is expensive, this is really true! We have had beautiful weather all week and have enjoyed”
