About the holiday home

This is a cosy 2-bedroom holiday home for 4 people in the beautiful Ardennes Luxembourg. It has peaceful, green surroundings that make it great for a relaxing vacation.

The house is a great base for day trips. La Roche with its castle is nearby, as are Bastogne and Vielsalm. You can go to Achouffe to see the wonderful brewery. Long walks and cycle trips are the best way to explore the natural surroundings.

The house has a garden and a terrace with a barbecue. You're allowed to bring 1 pet.

Expenses related to charging an electric or hybrid car (when possible) are always charged according to use and separately

“The cottage has everything needed. The kitchen is practical. Nice, clean bathroom and spacious bedrooms. Also practical that there is a toilet upstairs. The garden is not closed off, so we always had to go outside with our dog. This house is also located on a busy road, which was not so good for us. During our previous stays in the Ardennes, we always had a stay in or close to a forest where we could take beautiful walks. During our stay here, we always had to take the car, which we found a minus. In the village of Achouffe (a little further) you can take a nice walk in the forest.”

“Very cozy and well-furnished holiday home. Spacious bedrooms with good beds, spacious bathroom, compact kitchen with oven, large dishwasher and oven, spacious living room, TV with Belgacom box. The key for the house is in the number box at the front door and does not have to be collected anymore. quiet location with 2 MTB routes that pass by the house. The only drawback, for shopping you have to go about 7 km to the center of Houffalize. But this holiday home is definitely recommended.”

Sometimes the heating system failed and we had no control over that (centrally controlled). Excellent base for walks.”
