This holiday cottage is only 5 km from the town centre and 3 km from the nearest restaurant. You can visit the St. Hubert’s Basilica, museum of Saint-Michel, Saint-Gilles Church and Mirwart castle. You can also buy groceries and get tourist information about 3 km away. If you don't want to go too far, take a walk in the forest and enjoy the natural surroundings of the place.

This house has a terrace, a barbecue and a private garden equipped with garden furniture for you to sit back and relax. This pet-friendly cottage allows a maximum of 1 pet, free of charge.

“The house of Fabienne and her family is located on the edge of a beautiful forest where you can take several beautiful walks. The trails are easily walkable. The house is cozy with the fireplace and a very nice view. There are 4 small bedrooms, but more than enough to accommodate several people. The kitchen and amenities are a bit old, but everything works. It's nice that there is an oven and a dishwasher. We thoroughly enjoy the peace and nature here and would like to keep coming back.”

“Lovely house! Nice and quiet, located at the end of the village. Within 3 minutes drive from the shops. House is suitable for 4 adults and children. It is too tight for 8 adults (partly due to 1 toilet). Dogs loved it, freedom and long walks from the door possible.”

“Large house with a large fireplace that provides a lot of cosiness. You pay a small contribution for the wood. Ideal house with dogs. Dogs have a large yard and lots of space to run. House is near a forest and many walks. In the village you can have a drink with the locals. Were in the cottage with 2 people and 2 dogs. There could easily be another couple and children to fill more rooms. Nice to play CDs with the radio. The toilet had a bit of a sour smell but everything else was very fine.”

“We are already there for the third time, but mainly for the large garden and the beautiful view and the rust. You can walk straight into the forest. Beautiful omgeving.Vaatwasser is a real plus. At first we did not. The 2 person beds I personally found too narrow for z "n two. After 3 weeks we did suffer from our backs. The benches are also not really comfortable, but we take our garden chairs with us.”

“Our 8p cottage in Hatrival / Saint-Hubert BE was largely as stated on the site: simple, spacious, cosy. 1 detail was incorrect, viz. the number of single beds (4 instead of 6), so we got in trouble with the bedding that we had brought with us. In terms of outdoor space, there was more space (lawn) than in the photos, because part of the adjacent production forest had already been cut. That gave us a much freer feeling and a much nicer view, because you can beautifully go to the other side of the valley And long live YouTube to find out how the cooker works :) The owner will see if she can add the instruction after our tip on this, as well as buying a few smaller pans that fit better on the stove. An excellent base for activities/outings and something for everyone: a round of geocaching, the basilica in Saint-Hubert itself, Adventure Valley in Durbuy, caves of Han, canoeing on the Lesse at Dinant. a challenge, but in the end a delicious meal at Romain des Bois on the plein.Een absolute advised.Kortom: great house for a week if you don't demand too high.The week was over in no time!”

“very nice and helpful owner. Beautiful, very clean, cozy house with a large fireplace and comfortable seating areas. Very nice, the two separate sitting areas. Cozy dining table and well-equipped kitchen. Large terrace/balcony and very large property. The neighbors are a few meters away, it is very quiet, which we really enjoyed. Toilet very small and a bathroom.We felt very comfortable!propriétaire très gentil et serviable. Belle maison très propre et confortable avec une grande cheminée et des sieges confortables. Très agréable, les deux coins salons séparés. Table à manger comfortable et cuisine bien équipée. Grande terrasse/balcony et très grande propriété. Les voisins sont à quelques mètres, c"est très calme, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Toilette très petite et une salle de bain.Nous nous sommes sentis très à l"aise!”

“This chalet is ideal for people who are looking for peace and quiet and want to start hiking right from their holiday home. Although there were some "neighbors", you only heard sounds of nature. Getting up in the morning with a concert of all kinds of birds, hearing the wind rustling through the trees: here you really feel a connection with nature. The house itself was too big for two and two dogs, so we did not use the upper floor . The owner is very friendly, explains everything clearly and you can always contact her if there is anything. On arrival the chauffage was already on so that we did not arrive in a cold house. You really feel welcome. I also have the impression. that she really does listen to feedback, because I read reviews here that people missed a kettle or a dishwasher. Well, I have good news for these people: they do exist now. The layout of the house also has its charms and the interior is very cozy. For those looking for a quiet chalet and not in need of great luxury, this is the ideal holiday home. Saint-Hubert is also only 4 km from the house and there you will find everything you need.If I have to mention a small downside: the garden is not fenced (but we had orange nets) and it would be nice that in a chalet for 8 people and 2 dogs eg also 2 people with 4 dogs would be welcome. But now I'm really nitpicking. : D We were so charmed by this house that we laughed and asked the owner's mother if they were not going to sell it. : D”

“Chalet in a perfect location, along a dead end road with a beautiful view and you can walk into the forest! Spacious garden but not fenced for dogs. The cottage is for 8 people, but that is tight. We were only 2 people and 2 dogs so more than enough for us. Friendly welcome from the hostess who lives in the village, upon arrival I called her and a few minutes later she was already there. The wood stove, the wooden floor and the view give the real Ardennes feeling. The only drawback we found was that there is no dishwasher and that the double beds are too narrow.”

“A simple SMS on arrival at the cottage and the owner Fabienne super nice was there 5 minutes later to give us the keys and info! As announced, a real wooden chalet at the edge of the beautiful forest that we had the opportunity to discover and that did not disappoint. Quiet, nature, cozy, complete in its material. 4 rooms sufficiently spacious. Mattresses ok but could be more comfortable for a longer stay (slmt 2 nights for us). Spacious living area, cozy layout, super wood fire, no parking problem. Only downside, a single bathroom for 7 adults ... it's a little complicated especially as it is cramped ... the toilet very small too but less troublesome.We had snow and cold but in summer, the big terrace must be really nice! In short, we spent a very good we and appreciated this place so nature too short according to our big children ...”
