“We were warmly welcomed by the hostess on arrival. It's a bit of walking, but you come in a very nice holiday home. everything was tidy clean and quiet. the view was beautiful. We looked so much at Jedburg, a very cozy village. The people are very nice and hospitable. In the area there is a lot to discover with the Scottish Herritage pass that we had previously purchased. Beautiful natural areas, Edinburgh, the Harry Potter castle, castles and many more historic places.We enjoyed”

“We have a great time in Jedburgh. From here we made several trips to discover the Scotisch Borders alone offer more than two weeks can be viewed. Spot beautiful walks can be made (the tourist route has information) that is very worthwhile (take some a bottle of water). After a brisk walk tastes good glass in the Carters Rest excellent. Jedburgh has several good restaurants, where for a reasonable amount of good meals. Reservations are required. Haggis shows no organ meat flavors. Really it is very tasty. It is served in various ways. In combination with some lamb or venison is verukkelijk.”

“Scotland is a journey wertWer rest and relaxation studied, want to forget to put everyday life is here exactly richtig.Wir were very warmly welcomed on our arrival, John is very concerned about the welfare of his guests. He was able to give us lots of tips for our trips, assuming you speak English. This is actually the only handicap that you should not have here understand German here few. Also there for the TV Addict one disappointment ;-) there are no German channels available.The rooms are nicely decorated (IKEA living comfort and the kitchen is well ausgestattet.Wer even want to cook should inquire in advance where the nearest Aldi or Lidl because the supermarket prices in the village are still considerably higher. Located in the village even there to buy fresh bread which really delicious sind.Kinder here can rage right or play with the chickens. gewohnungsbedürftig The ice is, it's super sweet, the cake is the way auch.Das Weather here is very changeable, hairspray you can safely leave them at home, the wind schaftt here every Frisur.Hier rich a pair of jeans, comfortable shoes, T-shirt and a good raincoat and a Schirm.Zu recommend is definitely a trip to Anwick ( Harry Potter Castle), Edinburgh (grain Jewels) and”

“Hi everyone, We have just returned from this beautiful yellow house. Really SUPER! No doubt, do so immediately. If you do not mind having to walk to the stairs. But because the view is amazing, you look around Jedburgh (pronounced djedbroo) go! It was the first week of August and had warm clothes and umbrellas' s note. And guess what ... we have the whole week in our shorts walked! Wonderful weather had so up to 26 gr. Which is Sat Vanalles if you want to take yet. We've seen Harry Potter castle (son 12 and daughter 15 count), have been to Edinburgh, various town and villages visited and eaten everywhere. Which does not overpriced! We thought we many lost would be those pounds, but that was it really. Took less than ours. There were fresh eggs ready on arrival and fresh towels if we wanted to, we could get them so. Residence hear, we were with z "n 4-and. Relax on the soft couch and the kitchen was large and complete with oven, micro, toaster, vaatwass, radio / CD, DVD. The kitchen and bath room is 5 steps higher and sl.k. back one level. But just be careful about vloerbedekk creamy white and light sofa. We have in each case a top holiday had! “The "welcome was very warm. Mrs Millward s" has always been to "listen. Was also appreciated his hens eggs! The house is very nice, conveniently located in the quiet yet close to shops which managers are all lovely. Certainly the weather is Scottish, but that is part of local folklore! Destination therefore strongly recommended.”

About the holiday home

The modern design of the cottage has created an open plan living area with associated kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. With gas central heating and double glazing to add to your comfort. The holiday home is on the ground floor and the living room overlooking the historic gardens can be accessed by an external staircase. You have a digital flat-screen TV, radio, DVD player and Wi-Fi is available.

Situated in a quiet secluded and private location in a garden setting on a sloping hillside where the balcony affords open views across the Historic Royal Burgh of Jedburgh and the countryside beyond. The home of the eleventh century Abbey, Mary Queen of Scots house, the Castle Jail and Visitor Centre.

The historic town of Jedburgh has choice of bars restaurants and cafes all within walking distance.
For couples or families interested in walking, cycling and exploring the Border countryside. All within an hour’s drive are Hadrians Wall, Holy Island, Edinburgh, beautiful coastline with sandy beaches and rugged cliffs, lochs and rivers, stately homes. castles and other visitor attractions all on uncrowded roads. The combination of quality accommodation and outstanding views make an ideal base.
