“We were received by the owner. Accommodation was very nice as well as the area. Mrs has shown us around. We had a fantastic week”
Mr florent lejeune  (8/12-2017)
“good home, home consistent with the description and well heated.”
Ms Suzan Keddeman  (5/9-2017)
“Environment fantastic, house not very comfortable”
Duncan Mackenzie-Reid  (31/10-2016)
“Arrival good as strong log fire lit. Comfortable cottage. Great location for wider exploring. very quiet and oeaceful. On downside, no signal for Vodafone and no wifi (maybe be not a downside !), limited kitchen equipment (frying pans lost non-stick, saucepans aged and no oven cooking equipment for eg shepherd pies or cake making) and sheds covered in attacking rose creeper which ruined a good jumper and scratched my face while putting away plastics and looking for logs. Good kids toys, lovely walks, pub too Far to walk locally really. Would go back if they snipped the thorny creepers and added to kitchen equipment. Had a lovely break.”
Ms linda lernout  (19/9-2016)
“We were very well received by the caretaker of the cottage. an ancient but nostalgic Cotswolds huisje.Alles was neat and most of it was there. Not a luxury but goed.De setting was beautiful and lots of lovely places nearby. Bath, Lacock, Painswick. Ideal for people who love the English countryside style. A beautiful fireplace and large garden. Not suitable for long mensen.minpunt the beds and sometimes difficult to park.”
Mr Henk van der Brugge  (17/5-2016)
“furniture and bed width often leaves much to be desired”
Ms Vicky Salden  (9/4-2016)
“Beautiful setting, hear nothing but birds and cows! Cozy cottage, a journey back in time. It could be cleaner, but it did not bother. Beautiful, large garden where children can play. Very nice site!”
Kim Negendahl  (20/10-2014)
“more lindet in the kich, and teatowels neadet.”
Ms A Sterrenburg  (23/9-2014)
“Location is ideal starting point for various sites and cities (Stonehenge, Stourhead, Cheddar, Wells, Oxford etc) .Cottage is spacious and there is a beautiful large garden where children can play well and you can sit outside. Area is very quiet in a very small dorp.Echter interior is very old and it was not very clean. There were also some spiders ed. Tall people (& gt1,90m) bang their head against the bars. Hot water is only in the shower. There is a washing machine. Refrigerator is very klein.Parkeren bad as possible to the cottage, which is located on a narrow road on a slope, with little parking, but you can have your car away at the administrators kwijt.Bij arrival to the key holder there was none, and the phone (also the emergency number of Belvilla) were unavailable and the cottage can not be recognized, so it took an hour to figure out where we needed to be. using neighbors from the road Also in view of the rest of the week administrators hardly more.”
Ms Suzanne The  (9/9-2014)
“Caters cottage is a wonderful base for truly beautiful walks directly from the doorstep, and visits to many interesting sights in the vicinity (Bath is a must). We enjoyed our stay in the middle of farmland and this cozy cottage with private apple tree and plenty of blackberries in the garden! The cottage is simply furnished but met all our requirements. We found it delicious!”
Ms Ester Groot Nibbelink  (28/7-2014)
“This cottage is old, but cozy and comfortable. We've had a lot of fun with the fireplace and the tuin.De beds are quite comfortable. The village is very small and remote, but the car you are quickly in many pretty villages. There are beautiful hiking trails around the village around. A good restaurant within walking distance (white heart). Stone Henge is not so far away and well worth a visit. Near the cottage is a stream with a fun place to play and paddle.”
Ms Lobke van Oorschot-Coppens  (6/5-2014)
“The cottage was a typical English cottage. Very cozy with a large fireplace. Upstairs 2 large bedrooms. A beautiful garden where the children could play. Heart's content Also in the area is doing, such as a visit to Bath, several houses with lovely gardens, etc. everything Overall, a nice experience!”
Ms I Slot  (4/8-2013)
“We, family with older children, have this house and very friendly ervaren.Terug in time, maybe some old fashioned decor attention, but does the job.”
Ms Heidemarie Coellen  (12/9-2012)
“the house is located in a small village in the middle of the Cotswolds, no supermarket. Generally peaceful. The cottage was the given mapping, the interior decor shabby and not up to date (TV). Even with the cleanliness or improvements could be made. Overall, however comfortable. In rain and the open fire and a bit of the feeling of living history”
Mr Walter Veyt  (20/8-2012)
“Beautiful walking area, many culture and away, car noodzakelijk.Vriendelijke quiet”
Mr Patrick Dusée  (31/7-2011)
“The cottage is very cute and in true English style. Unfortunately we got there many free spinning heads, which I found less enjoyable. Manager was very nice. Our daughter has ridden ponies and our son has played nice with their sons.”
Fam G Donné  (14/9-2010)
“The house is beautifully appointed and decorated in a style appropriate to the time in which it was built. You may only dust allergies because everywhere is carpet, up the stairs and into the bathroom.”

About England

Cottages in nature

Great Britain has fresh greenery and clear air. The country, the "Countryside", is characterized by its untouched beauty. From green, beautiful hills and steep mountain ranges with amazing waterfalls, to inhospitable crevices, sand drifts, chalk cliffs in Kent, subtropical vegetation and numerous lakes. The romantic decor features the sprawling pastures and British cornfields. The characteristic hedges and stone walls frame the landscape as if it were a dream from a movie. The historical heritage is rightly the pride of the friendly inhabitants of this island. From all the holiday homes in the UK, there is a nice piece of nature to explore.
