This villa is beautifully located within walking distance of the beautiful Lagoon of Obidos and the beautiful oceanfront surf beaches. Ideal with children! Villa Mar e Lagoa is modern and very fully equipped. Everything is there to ensure you have a comfortable holiday. It has its swimming pool (can be heated from April to October for 15 euro per day).

Enjoy the impressive nature in the area during beautiful walks and take a break at one of the cosy terraces nearby. There you will be served honest Portuguese specialities at typical Portuguese prices. You can do your shopping at the small local food shops in the village. The shopkeepers will welcome you with open arms. In the vicinity you will find many beautiful sights such as Obidos, the monasteries of Alcobaca and Batalha or the Palace of Mafra. A day trip to Lisbon, only one hour away, is a must. In short, enjoy the beautiful Costa de Prata. Here you can visit several beaches at the beautiful Lagoon of Obidos and the ocean, within walking distance. Restaurants can be found 450 m from the property and groceries can be found 650 m away in a number of charming local superettes. Bread rolls can be bought just 100 m away and large supermarkets can be found in Caldas da Rainha.

The holiday home consists of 2 floors and a private terrace. On the ground floor you will find a living room with sitting area, TV (Chromecast) and dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped and one of the bedrooms with bathroom en suite is also on the ground floor. On the upper floor are the other bedrooms, with an adjoining terrace and a bathroom. At the private swimming pool, equipped with a child-friendly and electrically operated roller cover, there are lovely sunbeds with parasol ready for you. The roller cover can carry a weight of up to 80 kg. There is a pellet stove in the living room. The two bathrooms have electric heating. In our garden you can swim in the private heated swimming pool. There are plenty of sun loungers to blissfully enjoy the Portuguese sun. Ample parking space is provided in the driveway in front of the garage or directly in front of the house. There is a practical built-in barbecue on the terrace by the kitchen.

For any cool evenings in spring or autumn, we provide a sufficient supply of pellets for the pellet stove.
Public waste containers are provided at a very short walking distance for glass, paper/cardboard and residual waste.
There is one large bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the ground floor. On the ground floor, our house is step-free.
The television in the living room has satellite, digital cable, and a Chromecast connection. A DVD player is also available.
Oven, Microwave oven, coffee machine, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, blender, electric cooker, cooking pots, pans, oven dishes, fridge and freezer, washing machine, iron and ironing board, drying rack, central hoover system, etc.
We kindly but firmly ask you not to exceed the maximum number of people allowed in the house. Our house is equipped with 6 sleeping places + 1 baby cot. Under no circumstances may more than 6 people + 1 baby stay overnight.
Our keyholder Mario will welcome you on your arrival. He will hand you the key and give you a tour of the house. You can always contact Mario for any questions or comments. He will turn on the pool heater for you upon simple request (for a fee). Of course, Mario will also be present at your Check out.

Approx. 3 weeks before arrival you will receive your booking confirmation with information on e.g. where to pick up the key

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
