About the holiday home

This is a 5-bedroom holiday home for 15 people in the village of Meliskerke on the Dutch coast. It's located on a working farm which will give you an authentic rural experience. Children can milk the sheep and help shear their coats. On top of this, the beach is only 4 km away.

Zoutelande and Domburg are two beaches closeby. The area is great to explore on long walks and cycle rides. The historic cities of Middelburg and Vlissingen are both 10 km away. You can buy daily supplies very close to the home.

The home has a private garden and a terrace with barbecue. It is child-friendly and has a children’s bed, high chair, and stairgate.

Antwerp International Airport is 100 km away.

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters

“Very nice place, friendly landlords, great for the children. the stay in the Sheepfold deserves some attention, the upstairs toilet was out of use, and because the floor creaked terribly, the others woke up when you went downstairs. Downstairs the toilet seat was half way down. The dishwasher was not clean, which made it difficult to wash dishes, we cleaned it ourselves. but certainly had a wonderful weekend!”

Too bad that pets are no longer allowed (which was the case in recent years). This means that we can't go there anymore”

“With three families with children ranging in age from 8 to 16, we have booked this accommodation for the second year in a row. We had a wonderful stay in the house itself, where there is plenty of room for shared food & games. Around the house are farm animals to cuddle, you can help with the farmer and there are many outdoor play options and a terrace with bbq. The area also has many options for visiting Middelburg and other places and of course the coast with beaches. In short, another very nice stay.”

“Upon arrival, warmly received by the owners. I went directly to the hay barn with the children. That was fantastic after a long session in the car. Then towards the accommodation. The first impression was enough space for 12 people. It lacked nothing. In the area there is plenty to do for the children and of course lovely to the beach. But the grandchildren preferred to stay at the farm because there was a lot to do. Delicious!”
