“The apartment or residential complex in Scheveningen is relatively new, bright and friendly. We were able to pick up our key card at the reception at Roompot park in Kijkduin (about 5km from the apartment). Everything went really smoothly there and the employees there were very friendly, helpful and informed us about shopping opportunities and good restaurants nearby. The residential complex in Scheveningen has a reserved parking space in the underground car park for each apartment. The only drawback: when booking the apartment, I paid close attention to the bathroom - especially a shower cubicle! We found a very nice bathroom with a bath AND shower, which was great, but the shower had a shower curtain. We don't like this that much. Furthermore, there was the HUGE problem that the bathroom was always flooded - no matter how careful you were when showering. The bathroom has no drainage possibility in the floor, so that after each shower the floor had to be wiped. On leaving we met a very friendly member of staff from the cleaning/service area who informed us that the shower was installed incorrectly. That explains a lot, but it wasn't that pleasant. Otherwise, the apartment is really great and perfectly adequate for 2 people. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The kitchen, dining room and living room are open plan, which we really like. The couch can probably be converted into a sofa bed. However, our couch was already very saggy and uncomfortable. My husband preferred to sit in one of the two armchairs in the evening. Both the living room and the bedroom have access to the balcony. From the balcony, where you can enjoy the morning/morning sun, you have a great view of the marina and a short walk takes you to the large beach boulevard of Scheveningen.We can”
