“Fantastic house, with beautiful views. Also great fun for the children with the farmer, they can always go on the tractor. We enjoy it to the fullest, excellent beds, everything you need is in the house. And the house is really big, plenty of space.”

“We had a wonderful holiday here for two weeks. We were warmly welcomed with fresh flowers from our own garden and some goodies. It is a large house, which is very well equipped, with good beds and excellent wifi. The owners are friendly. They accept your privacy and let you look around the farm. We even got a thorough tour of the stables and the beautiful perennial garden. We were called (at our request) when a calf had to be born. We got a nice insight into the ins and outs on a farm. Within 15 minutes by car there are plenty of restaurants and shops. Where we might have expected to be bothered by cows and tractors, it turned out to be wonderfully quiet (despite the fact that farm life was in full swing). The private garden at the house is closed and therefore private. Great stay!”

“Stayed last weekend with 5 friends in the lovely house De Kolonie. We were able to pick up the key on Friday an hour earlier than usual. We were offered a tour of the cowshed around 6 pm and to experience how the cows are milked. Then we were given a tour of the garden, where not much was in bloom yet, but the photo book that the owner showed from last summer was beautiful. Good reason to stay here once in high summer. The house is beautiful, clean, the garden is big and completely private. I will definitely come here again.”

“Very nice stay! The house has everything you need: towels, bed linen, washing-up liquid and even some toilet paper. The house is neat, clean, very spacious (more than enough room for 8 people) and in a wonderfully quiet area. The owners are very friendly. There is even a possibility to get a tour of the company. Definitely recommended.”

“What a great, spacious, clean and attractive house, which we enjoyed with the whole family! And the owner is so flexible, thoughtful and super hospitable! Nothing was too difficult. And everything was more than enough: toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, coffee, tea, garbage bags, kitchen towels, washcloths. When I told her that my family would also be coming all day to celebrate my birthday, she added an extra dining table with extra chairs without any problems...and there was plenty of room for that! Definitely worth repeating for us!”

“A very nice, spacious and clean house with a beautiful view. At the end of the day we sat behind the house in the spacious garden to enjoy the sunset. Super! Warm and hospitable owners. We were allowed to explore the grounds (dairy farm), saw an hour-old calf, were given a tour of the beautiful garden and were given homemade yogurt (delicious!). There was also plenty to do in the area. If you don't want to figure it out yourself: the owners have lots of great tips. From the tastiest (soft) ice cream in the region (or secretly all of NL?) to thrift shops. We enjoyed it with the kids, highly recommended as far as we're concerned!”

“What a nice place! We had rented the house as MT to go over some important things over a period of a few days. The house is in the yard of a dairy farm, but has more than enough privacy. You look out over the meadows from the windows. The house was spotless when we arrived. The interior of the house is very attractive and comfortable and it lacks nothing. The beds were also very nice. The owners welcomed us very warmly and were readily available for questions. We had a very nice and interesting tour of the company. In short: an absolute must for relaxation, a visit to the area, nice conversations or just nothing.”
