Have you ever wanted to stay on an estate with family or friends? Then this is your chance! Landgoed De Klimberg offers a beautifully renovated house with lovely rooms, all tastefully decorated and everywhere you will find beautiful views of the nature that surrounds the house. There are five bedrooms with a total of 9 beds, two spacious modern bathrooms, a large attractive living/playroom with fireplace, a dining room with a view over the estate, a special 'hunting room' with bar, dozens of unique trophies and a fireplace. You can prepare the most delicious meals for your group in the well-equipped, recently renovated kitchen.

Surrounding the house is a majestic garden with a large fishing, swimming and rowing pond, complete with its own beach, terrace, jetty and swimming ladder. There are also large lawns and terraces everywhere, a tea house on the water, two ornamental ponds and - last but not least - an almost Mediterranean BBQ dining lounge area under beautiful plane trees. Eating, drinking and enjoying a delicious meal with friends and family under a green canopy.

For the little ones - especially in view of the open water - one of the gardens (directly adjacent to the kitchen) is child-friendly and contains everything a child's heart desires: a trampoline, playhouse, slide and swings. Two pets are allowed.

Landgoed de Klimberg is the only family estate in the Netherlands (40 hectares) that you can rent in its entirety. Peace and space in the middle of the woods, so a unique place to spend the perfect holiday, a weekend or a midweek. You can walk and cycle endlessly, but you can also rent a sloop for a trip on the Vecht.

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

Approx. 3 weeks before arrival you will receive your booking confirmation with information on e.g. where to pick up the key

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
