This elegantly designed farmhouse, with 3 bedrooms for 6 people, is in the Nieuwleusen countryside in the Netherlands. Perfect for those who love nature and adventure, this holiday home comes with a sauna.

The home is close to the Vecht River, and hiking and cycling enthusiasts will be in their element here. The towns of Meppel and Zwolle are 16 and 18 km away, respectively. Adventure Park Hellendoorn is 30 km away and is a must for children.

This is a child-friendly house with a children's high chair and bed. Besides the sauna, it offers amenities like a fireplace, heated floors, a private garden, and garden furniture. The modern kitchen is equipped with a Nespresso coffee-maker.

“Beautifully decorated. Everything present. Nice sauna. Beautiful location with animals around you. There were 2 cats sitting in front of the door all weekend. And occasionally also indoors. Which we really liked. We were 6 adults and the bedrooms were actually too small. And it is very noisy. You can just talk to each other through the bedroom walls. Parking with 3 cars was difficult and in wet weather you are in the mud. Cars are on a muddy driveway. It's nice that there is a charging station. Other than that it was great.”

“Beautiful house and beautiful, private place. We have had a lot of problems with flies and mosquitoes. Three family members are quite pricked. It would be recommended to install door screens. We discovered a nest of the oak processionary caterpillar. Our son was covered in bumps and spots with the accompanying itch. This was a downside of our stay here.”

“We really enjoyed this modern, comfortable farmhouse with a nice bathroom and sauna! It looked neat and attractive, beds made and everything present such as towels and sauna cloths. The kitchen inventory was also very complete, compliments for that. Furthermore, games, books and magazines in the house. Nice view of the animals and a little further on an even wider view. Delicious fresh eggs on arrival, very thoughtful! Plenty to do in the area! We have visited Kampen, Hasselt and Ommen. Also went to the Lemelerberg. Another tip is having a drink at the Mooi River hotel with a beautiful view over the Vecht! Don't miss the Kas van Kaat in Zwolle for a tasty snack and buying special trinkets. We look back with pleasure on a pleasant holiday week!”

“This was the third time we were in guesthouse Prinsensteeg. Nice quiet place and all amenities available. This time we were unfortunately plagued by many flies. Although that fits in a natural environment, a few more screens is highly desirable, given the warm weather, ventilation is necessary. We also found it a bit dusty this time, I suffered from allergies. We would like to see the towels treated with some fabric softener. We can still heartily recommend this stay.”
