This pleasant apartment, located in a quiet residential area of the charming city of Hoorn, offers a peaceful retreat for families or friends. Please note that the house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility, and reservations for groups under 23 years of age are not permitted. It is strictly forbidden to organize student parties, bachelor parties, or drinking parties in the house. Additionally, the homeowner lives on the ground floor of the property.

The apartment is just 1.5 kilometers from a kilometer-long sandy beach on the IJsselmeer, ideal for family fun by the water. In the summer, the harbor and Markermeer attract water sports enthusiasts and those seeking peace and quiet. The harbor has evolved into a water sports center with an international flair. Hoorn's location offers easy access to Amsterdam, only about 33 km away, with a quick train ride of approximately 35 minutes.

The apartment’s kitchen comes fully equipped, allowing guests to enjoy their favorite meals during their stay. The atmospheric living room is an excellent spot to relax and enjoy a drink after a day out. Guests should be aware that it is prohibited to download films, games, and music, and illegal downloading is subject to large fines.

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
