Modern Limmen is a spacious, bright family home in a new residential area in Limmen. The house was built in 2016, so everything is new and the house features all modern amenities. The beach of Castricum is 8 km away and Amsterdam 30 km.

The ground floor consists of a large open space with a pleasant seating area, a beautiful large dining table and a modern, fully equipped, open kitchen. On the first floor you'll find the master bedroom with double bed and TV, two bedrooms with a single bed each and a bathroom with shower, bathtub, washbasin and toilet. On the second floor there's another room with a double bed and a washbasin. Here you'll also find the washing machine and dryer. Around the house there's a wonderful garden with a picnic table in front of the house. Behind the house a covered veranda is being built, there's a trampoline and a play house with slide for the children.

The holiday home enjoys an ideal location for active holidaymakers; Castricum aan Zee is 7 km away. Limmen is the centre of flower bulb farming. This is why the Hortus Bulborum, a botanical garden with roughly 2500 different species of bulbous plants, is definitely worth a visit! True cheese lovers can make a trip to the lovely city of Alkmaar, famous for its cheese, which is about a half hour away by bicycle.

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
