About the holiday home

This is a grand 6-bedroom holiday home in Stramproy. It is located in a peaceful holiday park and has stylish interiors. This idyllic home is perfect for big groups and families.

The wooded surroundings, with nature reserves like Tungelerwallen, the Grote Peel and the Strampoyse Heide are perfect for endless hiking and cycling. Golfers can enjoy themselves on various golf courses in the area and you can visit 'De IJzeren Man' in Weert 5 km away for a refreshing dip. Restaurants and a supermarket are 5 km away.

The home has been beautifully furnished with warm colours and stylish accessories. The large terrace in front of the house is a wonderful place to relax and have a nice barbecue. There is a large garden for the children to play in. You can rent a cot for €5. You're allowed to bring 2 pets for €25 per pet.

Public transport is 5 km away and the nearest airport is 27 km from here.

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
Reservations for groups of persons under 22 years of age are not permitted
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

“It was a clean and spacious apartment for 12 people. The dogs were also welcome. In addition, the park is located in a beautiful wooded area. There are many outdoor playgrounds for children and the restaurant in the park is really fantastic. Really mega delicious food, large portions for a good price. Definitely recommended! We enjoyed it (7 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs!). Please note: they are currently renovating, so you can see building materials etc. here and there. We were not bothered by this!”

“The house was big enough for 10 people. The surface-mounted heating pipes made quite a noise level in the bedrooms. The cleanliness in the bedrooms left a lot to be desired. When moving the dessert, countless insect corpses came to light. The kitchen and the bathrooms were really sour. There was no baking tray in the oven, only a grill, so that the preparation of the pizza we had bought for was not possible. Upon arrival we were also told that barbecuing has been banned for 4 days due to drought. You can understand that, but if you have planned it for 10 people, it's stupid. It would have been nice if I sent a short info in advance by e-mail. The cutlery should also be checked. 5 small teaspoons for a house for 12 people is more than tight. But we still had a nice weekend.”

“The house is well laid out. A spacious living room and also a spacious kitchen area with a cozy large dining table. However, the kitchen counter is on the small side for a 12-person house. Two refrigerators was very nice. Both bathrooms are sufficiently large. And the bedrooms are fine too. The bedding was clean. Unfortunately, we found a few dirty pans and dirty plates on arrival and we ran all the crockery through the dishwasher just to be sure. That was a pity. We indicated at the reception of the park what we thought of this. They found it very annoying and would pay more attention to the cleaning. We found the € 80.00 cleaning costs a bit much. The park where we stayed was very nice and in the immediate vicinity it was lovely to walk.”

“A spacious house in a green environment. We had a lot of space with 9 people. With the many bedrooms, two bathrooms and an extensive kitchen, the stay was very pleasant. Enough space to be together and also enough space to retreat for a while. Only the wifi and 4g was not great, but good enough. The people who work there are very friendly and the nearby restaurant is also recommended!”

“The house was very dirty in one of the showers was missing shelf and light at the sink, and when we went to eat we took badly washed plates. No soft broom available to sweep the floor, vacuum cleaner did not work well, no dustpan and dustpan, no hooks in the bathroom to hang a towel at the sink and, for example, something to put your toiletry bag on. And that cost us almost €1400.00. And it is not visible on the site that the beds are under a beam, we bumped our heads.”

“Arrival was very bad. We had rented the house from Sunday evening to Wednesday morning but only used it on Monday and Tuesday. On Sunday evening I received a very angry phone call that we had not come to collect the key and that the manager was waiting. My mistake for not communicating that but the way it was done was downright rude. After that, a colleague of mine was once again told the truth by the administrator on Monday when collecting the key. It is true that we made a mistake where I apologized three times, but to respond to it like a holiday park .... friendliness is not in Vosseven's dictionary anyway ...”

“We had a wonderful few days. The owners are very friendly. There was a nice restaurant in the park. The playgrounds and the kids were great fun for the kids. Furthermore, beautiful walks in the area (very nice walking routes through fields). The cottages were completely fine and clean. There was enough space for 12 people and the large garden is very nice. It is a car-free park; is the kids could skate on the road. All in all a nice stay.”

“Friendly welcome by the managers. Beautiful spacious villa with sufficient equipment for 10 people. Wifi worked reasonably well to well. telephone range only via Belgian provider. Beautiful wooded area. Upon arrival it appeared that the door handle of the front door was loose and that the on / off button of the dishwasher was broken. Operation of the dishwasher was only possible with the plug in and out. This reported to the manager. despite the promise that this would be repaired on Monday or Tuesday, we have not seen anyone. not insurmountable but annoying. It was also annoying that only 1 key was issued, which is quite difficult if 10 residents choose different destinations on the day. For the rest, we had a good time.”
