This detached holiday bungalow is located next to our apartment farm 'Hoeve Bouwlust' - just outside De Cocksdorp. From the sheltered terrace you can enjoy a wide view of the vast Krimbos. The layout and furnishing of the house guarantee a comfortable stay on Texel. In the center of De Cocksdorp - 400 meters from your bungalow - you will find shops and restaurants.

On the ground floor is an open kitchen and living room, where you can enjoy the wide view. In the hall is the toilet and a staircase to the top. On the first floor are two bedrooms, each with two single box-spring beds. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and combination microwave. In the central launderette in Hoeve Bouwlust you can use the washing machines and dryers free of charge. You can park in the central parking lot. You can park your bicycles in the lockable central bicycle shed.

The island of Texel offers you many cycling and hiking trails. The bicycle is the ideal means of transport for your holiday. All sights, activities and villages with terraces and shops are a short distance from each other.
Take the children to the Caluna swimming paradise or to the seals in Ecomare. Don't forget to stop along the way in Den Burg and De Koog for a delicious drink or dinner on one of the many terraces.
For hikers, the nature reserve "de Slufter" is highly recommended. And one of the most unique hiking experiences on the island has to be a guided mudflat hike. Don't miss it and book a holiday on this fantastic island!

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
