“Bad experience as the (re)newed heating system did not work upon arrival. Also a dispute with the homeowner about this, who distorts the facts to avoid his responsibilities. Now being legally followed up. The homeowner does not state the facts correctly, the manager of villa park Harderwold can support this, as he was involved in this on both Friday and Saturday. We took photos on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with evidence that the installation failed and that left us (literally) out in the cold. Despite repeated attempts to fix this, it has not been resolved and certainly not immediately. Why else would the manager have come by on Saturday to solve the problem with telephone support from a technician? This didn't help in the end either... We were not able to use the jacuzzi on the first day (arrival day on Friday) and that leaves only Saturday as we had to leave the house at 10 am on Sunday. In other words, we were unable to use the jacuzzi for a significant portion of the total stay, approximately 30%. In other words, it is not recommended to stay here with such a homeowner”

“We spent 5 days in the villa. The house itself is quite nice and well laid out. Unfortunately, the holiday home had some small visual defects and very sparse furnishings and equipment. The beds were dirty (hair and there was even a bottle cap under one mattress). It was estimated at €30 per bed to make the bed, but to remove and put it together was required despite a hefty final cleaning fee of €180. Here you charge extra for each service but unfortunately you have the feeling that you are still doing the service you paid for yourself. There is a list in the house of what will be deducted from your deposit if certain things are not done before you move out. In addition, the house didn't seem particularly well-kept; there were cobwebs hanging all over the ceiling. In order to use the vacuum cleaner, we first had to empty and clean it. Neither the sieve nor the water container in the dryer was empty. When we showered, the water in the lower bathroom didn't drain properly and we got hair that was definitely not ours. Overall, it seemed to us that only the bare minimum was done to re-let the property. The villa certainly has more potential, but for the price with all the additional costs, in our opinion the points mentioned simply need to be improved. Another positive aspect is the beautifully maintained outdoor area and the whirlpool. We didn't use the grill, but the chimney starter has already seen its best years. However, the resort was nice and we would come back here, but in a different villa.”

“We had a great holiday at Villa 234 and would book again. We especially liked the location and the jacuzzi. The decor was modern and nothing was missing. Nevertheless, we have some suggestions for improvement: - the kettle should be replaced because it was leaking and leaked overnight - if you go outside the kitchen sliding door there is a wasp's nest on the drain of the rain gutter - there were many in the corners on the ceilings Cobwebs - after 6 p.m., the entrance to the park is limited by a gate, the code for this should be communicated more openly, e.g. directly in the front of the welcome folder (the last sentence on the stay ticket received by email under key is "The code for the barrier ( when it is closed) reads: ... ", but we did not understand straight away that this was about the gate to the entrance, perhaps more understandable would be" The code for the gate to the entrance to the park is: ... " )”

“Everything is very nice. Disadvantages: no slipway to let your own boat into the water! Incomprehensible! The boat must be brought into the water at the marina and then driven through the large lock to the destination. Harderwijk very nice. There is still a lot of new construction going on at the resort, so it can be very noisy. The house already has some flaws and was unfortunately only superficially cleaned.”

“On arrival we were confronted with a not clean house, this was quickly and efficiently picked up by Belvilla and handled neatly !!! We were assured that the owner would take action on reported points, but could only mean nothing more to us during our stay We really enjoyed and were impressed by the fun things and bike rides in the area. (Hans and Grietje, toy museum Terschuur, Elburg, and of course sailing with a boat is absolutely great, we also did a few times Optimally enjoyed the jacuzzi, which, incidentally, was neatly kept weekly, just like the garden, our compliments for that. Furthermore, beautiful house and we really had three beautiful weeks, the house deserved a fresh check up and addition of inventory to an 8-person house (too few and too small pans, a vacuum cleaner that does a bad job and no good cleaning things such as broom / mop, etc. make it difficult to keep luxury and cleanliness in order in the house. our 3 weeks completed a few things ourselves for convenience and also left a few things behind in the hope that it will benefit the next tenants We hope that when we come back to this house, our experience will be different, but otherwise real beautiful house We only hope that the owner will dot the i in terms of inventory and maintenance of the house, add a little more atmosphere and maybe another sofa, this one is not comfortable and you still want to be able to relax in a sofa to read, to watch TV etc”

“A great stay. Everything worked (sauna, zaccuzzi, etc.) Was clean enough. Beds are too soft (personal preference). Beware, the gate to drive in and out will no longer open automatically after 6 p.m. or so. According to Belvilla customer service, this code was in the email together with the code for the lockbox (for the house key) but this was NOT the case in my case. Belvilla must ensure that the code is passed on in advance, otherwise you will be faced with a closed gate!”

About the holiday home

This attractive villa in Harderwold is located in a quiet spot and features a sauna for relaxation. With a location next to swimming water and a nice, enclosed garden, it is very suitable for children and pets. A private boat can be parked at the pier.

Discover the lovely Hanseatic city of Harderwijk, with its rich history, and stroll through ancient alleys and across historic squares. You can sail and fish on the Veluwe Lake and enjoy a nice walk through the Veluwe forests and dunes. Bicycles can be rented in the immediate vicinity.

The villa has a modern and bright interior and is equipped with every luxury. From the living and dining room you have an unobstructed view of the waterway and in the garden there is a bubble bath and a sauna for 6 people. You can relax here. There is a high chair and a cot for the children's convenience free of cost.

The house may differ slightly from the photos, but the level of comfort is the same. Because of the peace and quiet, the park should be quiet at 22:00. Also, it is not allowed to play loud music during the day.
