“Beautiful holiday home in the forest with a beautiful garden. Is remote with bicycle for shopping to Diever about 8 km. The furnishings are complete and clean. Fireplace inside and outside. Bathroom with toilet and shower. Sink in every room. Big lake Canada with beach for visitors,: no dog dog... You can let your dog swim in the smaller lake. Even horses were cooled off in this lake. The owner lives opposite this “villa”:. Surprise: a delicious bottle of wine was waiting for us... During a heat wave it is wonderfully cool inside and outside.”

“This holiday home in Drenthe has a fantastic location in a quiet piece of forest. The house has a beautiful garden with a pond, gazebo and several seating areas. The living room and dining room are wonderfully spacious. The kitchen and bedrooms are slightly smaller in size. The beds (box springs) are fine, but especially the silence (unless you don't like birds) makes the night's sleep super. The kitchen is well equipped and the good combi oven will take you a long way. The area is great for walkers, cyclists and horseback riding enthusiasts. There is a large riding school on the corner of the street. This holiday home is highly recommended. In any case, we will keep these in our portfolio.”

“Very nice and clean holiday home with a fantastic garden ... An ideal place to enjoy the peace and nature. Wake up to cheerful birds chirping, and enjoy breakfast in the nice dining room with a view of the rascals of squirrels that come to peck the nuts on the feeding boards. The fish in the pond also appreciate the food that is ready for them. Nice gift from the owner on arrival. The only downside is the tight space next to the beds, but that's not so bad. The sink in the room was very much appreciated by my mother (86 years old) We really enjoyed it here; and can definitely recommend this cottage.”

“Very complete house. Decor is done with care and everything has been thought of. The garden is beautifully landscaped with a lovely pond in the middle. Above the pond there is a gazebo with an outdoor fireplace. Everywhere in the garden there are seats and a wide variety of birds and other animals. There is a squirrel, for example, who regularly comes by.”

This detached bungalow stands on the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold, on a spacious forest plot of no less than 1850 m². Enjoy a drink of your choice on the (covered) terrace or warm up by the cosy fire pit under the arbour! Ideal for lovers of peace, space and nature!

The immediate surroundings are perfect for making beautiful walks and cycling trips. The Drents-Friese Woud nature reserve is home to the largest shifting sands area in the Netherlands with beautiful cycle paths. The Vlinderparadijs (butterfly paradise) and a golf course can be found in the village of Havelte, situated further down. Admire the Hunebedden in Diever, known for the 'Shakespeare' performances, or make a trip to the Zoo in Emmen.

The unique holiday home is comfortably and colourfully furnished. You will enjoy the space in the atmospheric living room, the complete kitchen and fine bathroom with shower. The holiday home is surrounded by a spacious garden with a pond.
