A special highlight is the terrace on the upper floor, from which you have a view of the medieval village and the Versilia coast. Enjoy the wonderful sunsets over the sea with a glass of wine. The house is located above terraced olive groves in the middle of nature. After a walk (approx. 500 m) you reach the car-free town of Monteggiori with a well-known trattoria where you can try good Tuscan dishes. The fantastically long, gently sloping sandy beaches of the seaside resort of Lido di Camaiore are only 20 minutes away by car. The area is characterized by rolling hills and small medieval villages. The holiday home is located at the foot of the village of Monteggiori and can be reached by car. Here you can get sun loungers and parasols (payable locally). Dogs are allowed on the free beaches near Marina di Torre del Lago. In the evening, a stroll through the charming town of Pietrasanta is worthwhile. Trattorias in the narrow streets and bars on the piazza are not only popular with artists. Visit the imposing marina of Viareggio (approx. 11 km), large yachts and small fishing boats rock in the harbour. We recommend a bike tour directly along the sea road (bike path) from Viareggio to Forte dei Marmi, the posh town on the coast. In Carrara you will find the famous white marble quarries. 1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
