An above-ground swimming pool has been set up in one corner to refresh you after a day spent visiting beautiful Tuscany! The house has been furnished with care and attention to make your stay comfortable and cosy, particularly suitable for couples or families with children. There is wi-fi, barbecue, washing machine, private parking, mosquito nets on all the windows.
A vegetable garden is also available to guests.

We are located in the Santa Maria residential area overlooking the hills of Siena, a short distance from shops and services. Lucignano is called the pearl of the Valdichiana, a medieval village with a characteristic layout of concentric rings, located at the crossroads between the provinces of Florence, Arezzo, Siena and Perugia. Orange flagged by the Touring Club, it has a remarkable artistic, landscape and food and wine heritage. Lucignano is part of a privileged tourist circuit. In a very short time, the most famous tourist centres in Central Italy can be easily reached (28 km from Arezzo, 35 km from Cortona, 45 km from Siena, 70 km from Perugia, 80 km from Florence). Lucignano offers views of horizons as far as the eye can see and a well-kept countryside in complete harmony with the landscape.

On the upper floor, with independent access from your own, lives the owner, who will discreetly help you if necessary.

At guests' disposal: 2 amateur tennis rackets and balls, badminton set x 2, darts, children's lego, amateur billiards, draughts, chess, playing cards, amateur bowls, professional steel bowls (only on request x adults)
In spring and summer, the owners purchase butterfly worms to admire all their beauty in the garden: swallowtails, podalirio, greater burrowers, yellow coliria, the daphne, all the various pastel-coloured mignon species

On arrival you will find a welcome basket, a bottle of wine, water and coffee capsules for free


A car is a necessity! Please make sure you rent your own car!
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
The house owner lives in the same house where the apartment is situated
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
