About the holiday home

Stay in this charming and beautiful holiday home in Monsagrati with a small private swimming pool located on the green wooded hills around Lucca in a quiet and panoramic area. There are 2 bedrooms for hosting 4 people comfortably. This place is ideal for a small family or 2 couples longing quality time together.

The property is just 17 km from Lucca. The location of the house is very suitable for taking beautiful walks in contact with nature and cycling. The famous equipped beaches of Versilia are only 28 km from the property. You’ll find the general supply store, restaurant, and bakery at 2.4 km away from the house.

The house has been tastefully done, is very welcoming and is equipped with all comforts. You have access to a large terrace overlooking the whole valley, equipped with tables and chairs to enjoy a nice glass of wine or have lunch tasting the typical dishes of Tuscan cuisine. There is a private garden too at your disposal.

Pisa Airport is 47 km away.

A car is a necessity! Please make sure you rent your own car!

“Worthless owners and they are two old worn out musty small mobile homes that an idiot has put together and partially built a wall around it so that it looks like a house from the outside, electricity is connected everywhere with packing tape, really old junk no matter how well they took the photos. Not accessible by car unless you have a big 4x4 jeep with enough power, if not much fun with the very steep climb with your groceries. Believe me in this dead kitchen you don't want to cook and the two bathrooms are so small, worn out and you almost fall through the floor in one where the toilet and what then seems to be a piece of furniture with sink for with sets are wobbly because the floor is so rotten. Sunday evening around 18.15 arrived there after we had been busy for a while beforehand contacting the worthless owners who would like to receive your money and after we had caught them they were supposed to be there but they weren't, turnkey and good luck with it, next morning at 7.15 left because of the worn out junk and fire unsafe situation. Sunday evening (arrival) already contacted Belvilla who have done nothing until now 2 weeks later and now no longer respond, nice organization and good at doing nothing for their paying guests. Hope that the mess will soon short circuit somewhere and burn down which is very likely and therefore it can no longer be booked because Belvilla happily continues to rent out what is not a holiday home.”

“This application hurts my heart because we had two really great hosts in Denise and Elena, there's no question about that. Basically, Tuscany is one of the most wonderful places I've ever visited. Here at the house it's just great and you have a fantastic view over Tuscany. But unfortunately that's the good thing about the house. I really don't have a problem with old - but I do have a problem with old - dirty and broken. That's a bad combination. The bathroom in the parents' bedroom is unusable - toilet seat broken - flush broken - shower rod broken - floor with holes. The bedrooms and beds were completely fine. We had to leave early because we didn't feel comfortable. As I said, Elena and Denise were really great and helpful, but to be honest you're not allowed to let anyone into the house - and then for over €200 a night, that's pretty crazy. I've decided to give this review to help other people - not to harm the hosts.”

“Upon arrival, the GPS coordinates and address turned out to be wrong. No problem, so call the owner. Owner does not answer, not on phone, whatsapp, text and email. After 2 hours of searching and searching through the papers, a car stopped next to us and asked where we should be. This person also turned out to live on the same property. Upon arrival, the stay did not match the advertisement at all. Everything is old and worn except for the air conditioning. In addition, the residence is very humid. This is because it is in the middle of the forest. This is also not clearly stated, the text "is in a wooded area" is rather vague because all of Tuscany is a wooded area. The road to it is very bad so do not come with a car that is too low because there is a good chance that you will incur damage. Conversations with the owner who eventually showed up turned out to be fruitless. Everything was answered with a shrug, "can't help it" and "it's not in the contract so I don't have to". So useless person. But well, the surroundings and view are very beautiful, so that made sure it was not a complete fiasco.”
