About the holiday home

Located in Chiusdino, this 2-bedroom cottage is perfect for a vacation in the rural countryside. It is perfect for a family of 4 to stay enjoying the air conditioning, heating, terrace, and barbecue.

The place is in an ideal location to enjoy day trips to Siena at 30 km, Abbazia di San Galgano, and the towns of San Gimigniano, Volterra, and Castello di Montereggioni. The city of Florence can also be reached in a short drive. You can have fun on the beaches of the Tyrrhenian coast. There is a supermarket at 200 m and restaurants at 3 km.

The renovated cottage is freestanding and built of natural stone and old bricks. With typical Tuscan furnishings, it has a pleasant ambiance with air conditioning and heating. You can enjoy the barbecue from the terrace and stay till night in the furnished and illuminated garden. The living-dining room has a cozy fireplace. parking and space for 2 pets are arranged.

Public transport lies 200 m away.

“The arrival went well, beautiful surroundings, spacious space around the house, the owner was present at the agreed time. The accommodation was clean. Lesser aspects were that the sink did not drain properly, and that there were mosquito nets, but that there were so many holes in it that we had a lot of problems with mosquitoes inside (and outside too). We found it remarkable that we were emailed by the landlady asking for a copy of an ID. That really should have happened beforehand! This didn't feel very good at first; ID fraud is just around the corner, and we've never experienced this before. It is better than to arrange in advance from Topic Travel/Belvilla itself.”

“Very kindly received by the owner and his granddaughter. Very large and beautiful enclosed garden. Unfortunately, there seemed to be some holes in the fence, so our dog had escaped and we had to keep him on holiday. The house itself is very quiet, just outside the village. Ideally located to visit many cities of beautiful Tuscany (Siena, Montepulciano, Montalcino, San Gimignano, Volterra, ...). As mentioned earlier, it was indeed built on the plot next to us, but we did not have a lot of trouble here.”

“On the plot next to our something was built and that happened from 06.30 till late in the evening and night. A few times even until 1 o'clock in the night. Maybe it will be better to live next year, but it is because of the constant noise that our rustvakanyany has been ruined. The house is fine but not suitable for small children, too many open spaces where little ones can fall a few meters if you do not look good. The old Boss was most friendly but English from all left much to be desired so we did not understand each other. By mentioning the inconvenience, the granddaughter responded laconically to notice that complaining earlier.”

“A wonderful holiday in a fantastic omgeving.Hartstikke welcoming and lovely eigenaren.Spreken only Italian but google translate on Ipad no probleem.1 week here where we include the gorgeous Siena, the Leaning Tower of Pisa (more than 2 hours) and Follonica beach have bezocht.Houdt taking longer travel times because the house is somewhere in hills before you're out the winding hills you often half the journey there on zitten.Ook our dog was more than welcome and was able to complete fencing tasty take its course, a aanraderAls I still must specify a minus the ridiculously high cleaning costs 50, - which are mandatory.”

“We center as young Famillie 30 and son 13 + dog. We were very satisfied. The nature and peace have done us good. Large lot with fruit trees, completely fenced. We really enjoyed it and will be back. Trips by car to the sea, Florence, Siena and surroundings are fantastic. So many curves I have not ridden in life! It really is worth it. Search for people nature peace and seclusion are right. The town Chiusdino is only 2 km away from the shops. And very nice addition I think built in the year 600 so really old. Well best go and enjoy yourself.”

“Stayed a week at Casa Gioia. The garden is completely fenced, so that's nice and quiet. The owners speak only Italian, but was not a problem and are extremely friendly. In October, they came every day pick walnuts in the orchard, but through a separate entrance, so no problem because of the privacy. The beds were just put up on arrival. The view is fantastic from the terrace. However, the barbeque some awkwardly placed”

That was a downer with 37 degrees! Stores also beyond promised. The bikes were to Dutch concepts poorly. Everything should actually the auto.Wij found it too far away, but that's where you houdt.Verder another tip: there is a lot of in-house tools and trinkets, but a microwave and tea / fluitketelzou be handy.”

“A great combination between rest and activity. In and around the house, it is great to relax in the beautiful garden and orchard. The location provides a good opportunity to visit many beautiful things in Tocane, both calibrated places such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, etc., as the immediate area. Italy gives the inner man too much pleasure, such as in the village Chuisdino, where we have lots of good food and the delicious food of Francesco. He and his staff gave us a lot of pampering. His restaurant is called La Palazinna. A little later in the spot Ciciano we also delicious eaten at Bistro Dai Galli, great cuisine and a wonderful place to eat. Furthermore, our dog Tosca's great to her sentence had in the fully fenced yard. The house is fully voorzien.De barking dogs 24 hours a day go to be heard in and around the house and give nuisance.”
