Located in Florence, this countryside holiday home has 3 spacious bedrooms and can house up to 6 guests. It is suitable for a large family and features a shared swimming pool to enjoy a swim and a terrace for fun-filled evenings.

This old residence is located just 20 km from Florence, on a hill covered with olive trees and cypresses. The panorama before your eyes is very characteristic and embraces the upper Valdarno and the Florentine hills. The tower whose origin dates back to the Lombard period, the apartments completely restored respecting Tuscan architectural traditions, the panoramic swimming pool, the proximity of Chianti, Florence, Siena and Arezzo, make the Castello di Pratelli a unique place, where you can combine relaxation and culture, at the same time.

Nature lovers will be able to appreciate the forests rich in fauna, the lake, the surrounding countryside with its olive trees and vineyards that have made it famous all over the world.

In our organic farm you can buy different typical products, such as: extra virgin olive oil IGP Toscano Colline di Firenze, Sangiovese varietal wine, honey, eggs and seasonal vegetables (from our production ). From the shores of the lake, you can fish and admire the evolution of various breeds of aquatic birds. In the surrounding countryside you can take long walks or mountain bike rides, between woods and fields. You can find mushrooms (ceps, cloves, etc.) and forest fruits.

The apartments have furnished outdoor areas with a barbecue. The swimming pool and the solarium enjoy a panoramic view of the Val d'Arno, and will make your stay unforgettable. There is also a restaurant on the castle grounds. This restaurant is used for all weddings or other parties but often also on Saturdays and another day of the week for holiday home guests in July and August. However, keep in mind that dinners are on request.

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
