“Nice location on the lake. Plenty of sunbeds at the pool. Staff are very friendly. Great base for trips to beautiful places in the area. Village contains a small supermarket and a bakery where you can get fresh bread every day. There is algae on the edge of the pool and the bottom of the pool is covered with gravel. The apartments are definitely not brand new, contrary to what is claimed. Apartments were built in 2008 and actually already need renovation. Shower was quite full of mould, shower head leaked and after every shower there was water on the floor of the bathroom. Shower head is neatly repaired after reporting to reception. The dishwasher also did not work, they could not repair it immediately and was not repaired during our stay. The first apartment we were in was quite noisy. The facilities in the kitchen were quite limited. For example, no cutting board, older or broken pans. The hob was so small that two pans couldn't really fit next to each other. Parking is difficult because there is not much space at the hotel itself. An alternative is parking 300 m away, paid parking in the summer months. All in all a great stay, but in terms of price/quality you expect something different. Certainly because it is insinuated that they are brand new apartments.”

“Beautiful apartment overlooking the lake. Unfortunately no balcony. Beautifully located swimming pool directly on the lake. Less suitable for small children. Good restaurant with friendly service. Downside: after 20:00 it is suffocating outside from aggressive mosquitoes.”

“Reception and accommodation were fine. The only disappointment was that there was no possibility for breakfast. This is in contrast to the travel information. It stated that breakfast was possible for 10 euros per person per day. Now I had to go out every morning to get fresh sandwiches. This had been a reason for me to choose a different hotel / apartment in advance.”

“Super stay for lovers of peace. And an hour's drive from Milan. Pretty easy to reach by bus and train. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant Antico Verbano and enjoyed the fantastic view. Accommodation was good and welcoming. Arona was also very nice to "night stay, with cozy cafes and restaurants. We recommend there restaurant" Hostaria Vecchio Portico "to the Piazza del Popolo 14 definitely!”

“FRIENDLY PEOPLE AROUND THE MEER.EEN private beach where sun loungers and parasols ALL READY. AND A BEAUTIFUL VIEW OVER THE WATER. ISLANDS IN THE LAKE VIEWS WE TOOK A NICE EXPERIENCE MEINA IS A SMALL VILLAGE WITH NARROW STREETS AND AS MANY PLACES quaint shops AROUND WITH THE CABLE UP AND ENJOY THE VIEW OF THE LAKES AND SURROUNDING WONDERFUL POSSIBILITIES AND WALKING THE REST IS GREAT AND NEIL CORRY THE VIRTUE”
