“We were very enthusiastic about the cozy, lovingly restored "little barn" and felt very comfortable there! The environment is unique and the beach, which is really only 300m away, is the most beautiful beach in all of Zeeland! The owner "Marti" greeted us very friendly and gave us a great "history lesson";) He also gave us a lot of information about exploring the beautiful area. “If you want to get some fresh air, this is the place to be. You will be welcomed by a very friendly owner, who can also tell you a lot about the area. It is a nice place close to beautiful nature and the sea. We were here in the winter and really enjoyed the lovely walks and the cozy shed. In the summer it must be completely delicious here!”

“Nice location and friendly host. Communication with the owner of was good: a lot of information was given about things to see and do in the neighborhood. The place itself was pretty basic but okay for this price. We visited “‘t Schuurtje” during the winter and covid, so much time was spend in the house itself, something you would normally not do when you are 200m from the beach! Some additional effort could be taken by the owner to make the place a bit more ‘cosy’. Value for money is good!”

Close to the beach and nature reserves where we could walk with the dog, which was also with us. Due to corona measures, the restaurants were unfortunately closed, but sufficient catering establishments provided or you could take away meals.”
