About the holiday home

"Single-storey holiday home situated in a quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac. The 1,800 m² garden with its small goldfish pond, the shaded terrace and the swimming pool invite you to relax. Behind the house you can admire the listed ruins of the old village. It is also the starting point of several hiking trails that will take you through the beautiful surroundings of this charming little village.

The surroundings are ideal for walking and cycling or for visiting the many cultural sites such as the Chapelle Saint-Cézaire de Château-Bas, the Chapelle Saint-Symphorien or the Temple de Diane. The many small villages in the vicinity also have their own charm and are well worth a visit. Children will be enchanted by the nearby zoo ""La Barben"" and the ""Village des Automates"". During your stay you should also plan a day trip to Aix-en-Provence and Marseille!

“It is a beautiful area and the grounds around the house are also very nice. But it must be said that the house is really dirty. We immediately went to a supermarket and bought cutlery and plates because we found it too dirty for words. Day 2 the house but cleaned well to make the stay as nice as possible. And idd animals on the site fine, but we had to take care of the fish, birds and cats, which we found strange and everything was dirty from the animals. Our choice for this house was based on the possibility of horseback riding, but the owner does not do that anymore, which was really a disappointment for our daughter. In short, a really nice house but not clean, pool was fine”

“Great house in good surroundings. Surprise was that we had to take care of the cats and fish. Not very clean house but very good to stay with a nice pool. You can visit a lot of nice things in the area.”

“The house is in urgent need of a thorough cleaning and cleaning. Crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and even furniture were dirty and had to be washed before use. On arrival we found a bowl with leftover food in the oven. The house is full of discarded junk and tastefully decorated. A room passage is even completely boarded up to hide unusable items. In the bedroom there is a cupboard for the driver to lose them somewhere... The second bedroom is so full that you can barely move. In the living room there is insufficient lighting to be able to read a book in the evening in bad weather. There is no covered terrace, which means that you have to go inside in case of rain. runs after which, if it is not mopped immediately, it eventually ends up on the floor.There is no folder with tips for trips or where to go shopping.On the very last day we happened to learn that it was possible to order bread to be delivered to the cafe in the village.We did receive instructions immediately upon receipt about how often the fish should be fed. The maintenance of the swimming pool (cleaning the filter, replacing purification tablets and sucking the dirt on the bottom) is also reserved for about the guests. The garden is pleasant with ample sun/shade zones but has been poorly maintained so that it was in fact rather a thick carpet of pine needles and grasses. On day 1 I could already predict that we would have to go to the vet with our dog to have grasses removed from the ear canal under anaesthetic. It took another week before it came to that after which we gave her the rest of the course”
