“UG: The sauna door doesn't close properly, which is really a shame. On the first day, the sauna had not exceeded 60 °C. It is very humid in the room and there is an unpleasant odor. No decent bathroom available. The shower is in very bad condition. So neither of us had used the bathroom. The table tennis room is still ok. Unfortunately a little cramped there. EC: there are no reasonable mirrors in the whole house. There is no storage space in the bathrooms, and there are many little things that would make the holiday perfect. The heating only works as it pleases. So towards evening it was always cool in the whole house. 1st floor Again no reasonable mirrors available, also cool in the rooms. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was the highlight. 2ND FLOOR. Internet connection very bad upstairs, otherwise it was ok.”

“First of all: Very nice house, we had a great stay. What we didn't like so much: - The information on the equipment would have to be revised. Unfortunately for our children there was only a TV in the living room (not in two bedrooms, as stated). There is no shower in the basement (very bad if you use the sauna. You have to go up 2 half floors) Which we liked : - Great garden at ground level - very well equipped kitchen - additional fridge / freezer in the basement - table tennis table in the basement - quiet location - super nice, helpful manager (perfect contact via WhatsApp). We were 4 adults and 5 children. There was enough space for everyone and we didn't have to use the two bedrooms in the basement. Perhaps you should consider doing without one and instead installing a shower and relaxation room. The rooms are appropriately furnished, you shouldn't expect too much here. The bathrooms / toilets on the ground floor and first floor are newly renovated.”

“The arrival was very easy and uncomplicated organized by the landlord. The accommodation was very suitable for our purposes as a group of young adults as we were out of the house most of the day and the house was equipped with all the basic things. The nearest supermarket is only 5 minutes away by car and the house is quiet and very rural. Nevertheless, it is possible to reach many hiking areas and holiday destinations quickly from there by car in summer. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not quite as expected, but you could overlook it well because everything else went very well.”

“Addressed had us the size of the house with its many beds and bathrooms. The plan we had a holiday with 11 adults, of which 2 persons were unfortunately unable to ride the short term. However, this had the advantage that we did not have to occupy the basement, because this same size and amenities truly monastic cells and are not suitable for use in the winter months - no heating and no windows (only light well). In one room was an electric heater, but did not work. Accordingly cold and musty, it was in these rooms. The bathroom in the basement was without heating, cold and damp and uninviting for Saunagänger. At the dinner table we had with our group comfortably seats but with full occupancy is it in space closely and in the living room was not for a seat so we had to take from the dining table respectively to the seating. The furniture and the decor look in the photos later. There were at our arrival a new plasma TV, where we could inform us daily about the current weather in Ski Resort. Unfortunately, the journey takes the next Alpendorf ski area by car at least. 20 minutes and the Fahrze”

“The house is cozy and well furnished. Perfectly suitable for 11 people. With 15 people two sleeping rooms shall be shared in the cellar, which have the charm of a monastic cell. A space has no heating.Guests journey by ski bus to the Alpine village, depending on the weather 25 to 40 minutes.”

The location of the house is ideal to go to many ski resorts of Ski Amade. Property manager on site is very good.”

“We spent a very nice holiday in a cottage Josien! The house is very clean, nicely decorated, well maintained and fully equipped. The contact person on site is a simple, flexible and very friendly. The place is small and very quiet, but a small kiosk located in the immediate vicinity. Further shopping can be reached by car in 5-7 minutes. The large ski area in St. Johann / Alpine village is about 12km away and can be reached by car in about 15 minutes. It also runs morning and afternoon, the hour and a ski bus. Overall, one can, this spacious cottage for everyone, without hesitation recommend it.”

“Outside the excellent weather we have had that week, it was extremely good chalet. We really enjoyed the space of the room. The sauna was nice and the trampoline could not fail. The Austrian stove is extremely blessed. After lighting it, put one piece of wood and it is warm to the morgend it. Glorious feeling!”

About the holiday home

This authentic, detached country house for a maximum of 15 people is located near the well-known town of Goldegg in Salzburgerland and offers a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding mountain landscape.

The country house offers a large, spacious and cozy living room with a tiled stove and direct access to the large garden, a separate dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, a total of 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (some of the bedrooms have a beautiful and comfortable sleeping alcove). In the basement you will find a private sauna and a ski room with ski boot dryers. The house also has a washing machine and dryer, a lounge and 2 carport spaces for the car.

Known for its beautiful location, Goldegg Castle, the great swimming opportunities in Lake Goldegg and of course the golf course, Goldegg is located in the middle of the Salzburger Land and is therefore an ideal place for your vacation.

In Goldegg im Pongau, the Buchberg-Goldegg family ski area, ideal for beginners and recreational skiers, offers a total of 5 kilometers of slopes, 2 drag lifts and 1 baby lift. With the “Ski amade” ski pass you have access to an incredible 760 kilometers of slopes and 270 lifts, the extensive ski areas of Kleinarl/Flachauwinkl/Zauchensee and Flachau/Wagrain/St. Johann are the top ski areas in the region.

There are numerous shops in town for everyday needs as well as a good selection of restaurants.
