Portbail is a popular seaside resort that has been awarded the Blue Flag for the quality of the water. Thanks to the wide range of leisure activities on site, there is no chance of boredom. In addition to numerous activities on land, various water sports can also be practiced. Small concerts and cultural events take place in the village in summer and there are art exhibitions in the village church all year round. The local butcher seems to be particularly good, and super fresh seafood is also available at the same spot.

Activities in the area: Signposted walking and cycling routes all around you to explore the scenic interior countryside as well. The Anglo Norman Islands of Jersey, Sercq and Guernsey are across the road. Enjoy the good cuisine and the unique English-French flair while visiting the beautiful nature. At least one trip to the world famous Mont St. Michel, expressing from afar anywhere in the bay. Barneville's colorful weekly market is a great place to find excellent local produce.

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
