About the holiday home

This detached and very functional gite is located in the hamlet of Goutte-Claire, 3 km from Sauvain and 23 km from Montbrison. The interior is rustic and comfortable.
The cottage has terraces with furniture in the garden and a large playground, from where you will have a wonderful view of the valley. You can enjoy the outdoors with the barbecue.

The holiday home is located at 1100m above sea level.

Here, no wifi or TV (mobile data sharing possible). Enjoy the outdoors, with many mountain walks, cranberry picking in summer, fishing, cycling and mountain biking, with possible rental nearby

“The house is quite high and on a windy place. Outdoor seating is less effective if it is not very hot. The house is very basic furnishings, but what you need is there. We have amazing sunsets and one sunrise views !.”

“The reception was allerharrtelijkst. Also, we were welcomed by accordion music, typically French. Unfortunately, the neighbor kept it there quickly, probably due to previous complaints. Location perfect, what a view! what a rest. You should take the time to find out what walks and excursions. You have to drive a little further for a supermarket and unfortunately I do not have typical French market was found, but all in all had a good holiday. Cozy wood stove in the evening. The chairs were fine, the bank was a disaster. The kitchen equipment was adequate, did not. Very suitable for lovers of peace and nature. People who want to bustle around him, better go elsewhere. “This cottage is situated in a beautiful nature. Ideal for 2 adults and their children who want to enjoy a peaceful holiday. The garden is very large and offers opportunity to play, sunbathe ... Keep in mind the rather cold temperature because of the altitude. The sun gives warmth, but the wind can sometimes make fresh. Even in our summer residence in the evening we used the wood stove (which of course can also be very nice). The owner and the neighbors are extremely friendly people. A disadvantage is that you can make little excursions in the neighborhood. Count still always a drive of at least 45 minutes to an hour until you reach a point of interest are.”

“Very nice quiet cottage with beautiful views over the valley from the garden. The silence is amazing. Nearby are beautiful walks on the ridge to (routes at the tourist info in Chalmazel). The house is not quite as "alone" as the picture looks. To the left are two houses, but there you have no way of nuisance. In short, peace and privacy abound.”
