“We had a nice holiday in this house. It is a quiet place with lots of privacy and a great view. The tree house was about to collapse and could not be used, which was a pity for the children who had been looking forward to it. The decking of which a large part of the garden consists of needs to be replaced, many loose and rotting planks. If you are a little economical with the electricity you just have lighting in the evening. The pool is nice and long and you can swim laps in it, but it quickly turns green and is then difficult to get back under control. The driveway to the house is unpaved and quite steep at the beginning, so the bottom of our car did rub up and we could just get up, if you have an SUV you will not be bothered by this. The area is beautiful for beautiful walks, but also if you go out by car you drive in a beautiful environment. All in all we enjoyed it!”

“Finding a house took a lot of time, the coordinates are not correct and it is not indicated anywhere. A plate would save a lot of time and annoyance. When you stand outside it all looks really beautiful and soothing. As soon as you enter you lose this feeling. Not dirty, but clean is different. A very low counter, with a bar above it so you have to do the dishes and prepare the food in a very annoying position. Since nothing works on direct electricity, you are limited in some things. Electricity via solar panels and the refrigerator and boiler run on gas. No lights on inside, you are not allowed to blow-dry your hair to name but a few because otherwise you could end up without electricity the next day. (Our experience) Outside it is beautiful in terms of environment, there are plenty of places to sit out of the sun. A beautiful swimming pool which gets its water from the river, so not always warm.If you are satisfied with all the less pleasant things then it is a great huis.De owner is always available and very helpful.”

“Very nice environment, in the middle of nature. Beautiful garden, nice pool. The inside was mediocre, but you can also expect that, if you reserve something for that price, you are not buying luxury. The lack of comfort was a challenge, you always had to take into account that everything ran on solar panels and you did not consume too much during the day, otherwise you would be in the dark at night. Fridge on butane gas and cooking on a gas bottle took some getting used to but all feasible. also a very nice tree house with bed where you could also spend the night. Hygiene could be a little better, but here too, house is not easy to clean, is not a traditional brick house. Bedrooms were semi-underground, part of house was buried in mountain. This gave 1 bedroom a ground odor, so we slept with the window open all week, then the odor was much less. For activities, kayak Tarrassac and Carcassonne at 80 km drive is recommended. Conclusion: we have a nice holiday and it was good for the children to know what it is like to live a week with little comfort and without wifi.”

“Very good reception by Christophe, clear explanation. Is also always accessible on his mobile phone in case of problems (he works at night). It is very remote and therefore quiet. Very nice place to relax. You are in the middle of nature so it seems logical that there are already a leaf is in the pool or that a colony of ants take possession of the terrace :-) Since the bedrooms and bathroom are underground (carved from the rock) it is cool ... Spacious terrace with plenty of shade .. We recommend it to everyone!”

“It was a beautiful location !!! Nothing of sound only nature .. Beautiful villages, very friendly people, Good reception and contact with Christophe (the contact person there) very friendly and helpful! Lots of beautiful and special animals seen.The pool was thick in order and very useful by the warm weather! The bedrooms were very cool and that was pleasant! The hammocks were also blissful !!”
