“Beautiful environment! For a peaceful holiday! Navigation did not indicate it properly. But if you take the road to the town of Besse ... you will automatically pass the house. The pool is wonderful! Super with 4 children aged 10 to 19, nice to cool off. Many games at home! Enough literature too! Enjoyed! You can eat well in the village, not too expensive. It is special that the history in this area also goes so far back. Visited Rocamadour, a must also be easily reached with a pram if necessary. Deer, a wild boar and a beaver were walking in the garden👍🏼”

“Beautiful house, beautiful surroundings. Administrators were very inaccessible because they had to wait for a closed door on arrival and had to call several times on departure. Garden furniture she was old and really should be replaced.Huis itself was not schoon.Dinner thank you had a wonderful holiday! If you want to relax, it is definitely recommended.”
Mr Tom Schuyten  (30/7-2018)
“Mail also sent to on 18/07 without reaction to date.We currently involve this holiday home in the south of France, very nicely located in a beautiful region, but ... .The house has a lot of potential, however anno 2018 However, this no longer satisfies what you can expect from a holiday rental. For example, we are the first tenants of the year and we also noticed the superficial brush, the house is not really clean. We thoroughly washed the household goods (plates, glasses, knives) before using them because we were dirty. It smelled musty in the house. - We also find spiders and cobwebs in the house. The bedrooms contain cupboards, but we have the clothes hanging on the outside because of dirt inside. There is also some stuff and personal items here and there, which I just do not want to see on leave. There is rats and mice poison on the closet in the bedroom.- The garden is beautiful but the grass has fallen and the grass is left lying, your shoes are full of grass when you go back into the house, you take it everywhere.- There would also be bicycles, there are 2 men's sport bikes with flat tires, not usable.- Badminton net, sandbox would be present, we do not find.- The garden chairs and outdoor garden we first washed because of dirt.- The scenario as a tenant to maintain the house is not realistic if you get the house, one asks the windows to patch if they are dirty ?? Of course, this dirt at the start of rental if not cleaned after the winter. - The gas oven is rusty and a danger to use.- The BBQ that is there has had its time, we have bought a new one ourselves.”
Mr E Lont  (25/10-2017)
“House has contradicted us, is being improved by the owner (see also review July 2017) .Greatness very beautiful.”
Ms Maria Goudena  (8/8-2017)
“We were kindly welcomed by the French speaking contact person. Explanation was good to follow and a bottle of wine was ready. However, the house has contradicted us. It is a dark house that is illuminated and it is full of furniture, personal belongings of the owners, tierelantines and troops. Especially in the living room and the small kitchen, you can not store your own stuff and keep it messy. The toilet stinks and the sofa is worn and smells bad, so you do not want to sit on it. The downstairs / sleeping area has low ceilings and there is a dense air. The stairs down are very awkward. In fact, you'd rather go outside again. The construction pool has a diameter of 5 meters, the water is +/- 1 meter deep. Stairway to climb in was old and rusted. In the garden next to new garden furniture were also old and broken garden furniture. There is no sandpit as indicated by the house description and the badminton rackets that are located are broken. There was a cricket set ready for the children but that was broken too. Pros and cons The garden is really very big and the house is quietly located. The surroundings are beautiful. Beautiful nature and there is a lot to do within an hour's drive. You can go hiking, cycling, fishing, canoeing and swimming. There are a lot of beautiful castles, churches, caves, prehistoric sites, markets, restaurants and old villages.”
Ms Sara Merckx  (2/9-2016)
“You should always pretty far away to see anything. For a larger supermarket you have a half-hour drive away. The house is very secluded. It is therefore very quiet. The cottage is well equipped washing machine, iron, toast machine, etc. are available.”
Mr Wijnand Broer  (18/8-2016)
“A beautiful house that is peacefully situated. Many large garden (more like a park!) And a nice small pool to cool off. The house and location are actually nicer than the pictures "s suggest. The (French), reception was nicely tiled and friendly (with bottle of wine!) And easy to follow with a limited knowledge of French. The area is ideal for day trips to beautiful medieval towns / villages (as "n 6" most beautiful villages in France "are between 20 and 40 minutes) and to several stalactite caves. The only downside of the cottage is the lack of wifi and internetontvagst (no signal, no signal for mobile phones). At the tourist office in Villefranche du Périgord (7 minutes drive, with bakery and supermarket) is fortunately free wifi available (outside the front door on a bench) .Kort report recommended!”
S.C. Janssen  (24/9-2012)
“What a lovely house! We enjoyed 2 weeks, walks from home gemaakt.Grote, beautiful garden and nice seating areas throughout. Kitchen is small but very complete, 3 beautiful bedrooms and a cozy living room with lovely fireplace. The bathroom is perfect with views of the garden. Is quietly but remote, the bikes are road bikes men's model with very old, thin straps so that we do not gebruikt.Dagelijkse messages Ville du Franc P.goed possible”
S.C. Brouwer  (30/8-2012)
“A lovely cozy cottage with lots of privacy and space around the house. Pleasant cooling at high temperatures. Then the private pool is also a nice luxury! 3 km away is the small hamlet of Besse with a beautiful Romanesque church and a beautifully located small restaurant where you can eat for a reasonable price. In the nearby Villefranche-du-Périgord is able to safely do your daily shopping (bakery, supermarket, butcher, restaurant).”
