About the holiday home

This simplistic cottage is situated in Badefols-d'Ans. Perfect for a family, it can accommodate 4 guests and has 2 bedrooms. It has a fenced swimming pool for you to unwind after a long day.

Stock up your essentials from the grocery store only 2 km from the cottage. You can go out for a friendly dinner at the nearest restaurants, 2 km away. The forest is 100 m from the property, if you would like to explore nature. Hautefort Lake is 8 km from the cottage.

A furnished garden is accessible for you to enjoy a lovely cup of coffee with your close ones. A barbecue is available for you to cook and enjoy an amazing dinner with your family. A wood stove is installed in the property to keep you warm and cosy inside. Children’s bed and high chair are provided to the little ones.

Brive Airport is 40 km from the cottage.

You can check-in by 5 PM till 8 PM and check-out by 8-10 AM.

“First of all, the owners of the holiday home are very friendly people. Although there is air conditioning, it apparently no longer works. But if this could be repaired quickly, just coolant, this would certainly benefit the guests. Fly windows would also be a must and an extractor hood in the kitchen. We wouldn't mind paying 100 euros more if this were available. In the heat it is impossible to sleep in the bedrooms. We had to sleep in the seats in the living room. The pool, on the other hand, is perfect. Your privacy is also respected because the swimming pool is located next to the owners' house. It's a pity that we have to report this because I repeat it again, it's friendliness itself. I only had a week's holiday and I didn't want to sleep in uncomfortable seats. tip: maybe also install a small shower in the bathroom. The shower facilities are located in the basement and you must first go outside to wash.”

“Complete house (no dishwasher), very nice owners, perfect pool and view, very quiet. But the house is old and therefor low..I"m 1.95mtr and all Doors, some ceilings and the shower (via outdoor stairs) are to low to standup straight But worth every euro”

“Lovely cottage with a marvelous view. The swimming pool is beautiful and well kept, we could see the surroundings (a field with cows, hills around) while laying in the pool. Terry and Pauline are easy going and so very kind, they even organized a table tennis for our sons. Two times we were surprised to get fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and a huge zucchini from their garden. The house is completely furnished, with a good oven, we made great dinners and cakes. In the village nearby there is a supermarket which also sells bread, and we can heartily recommend the restaurant l'Auberge des Tilleuls in Badefols d'Ans. We would love to stay in the cottage again!”

“As a family (children 15 and 8 years) we have a wonderful holiday in this beautiful area. Every day we enjoyed the beautiful view from our terrace. We were received very hospitably by the homeowner. On arrival we received a delicious bottle of wine with a fresh baguette from the local bakery, advice on sights and restaurants. The cottage is tastefully decorated, beds were made upon arrival. Every day we sought cooling in the beautifully landscaped swimming pool with a view of the landscape.”

Although the owners live on the same plot, you have all the privacy but they are always very helpful when there is something. The pool is neatly maintained. There are plenty of attractions in the area to view.”
