“It was a very pleasant stay. The house was well equipped, walk-in shower, spacious kitchen and seating area. Beautiful terrace, spacious garden for the dog. We didn't have any children with us, but they could have fun on the trampoline and swing. The pool table and darts were also an added value, only the selection and arrows need to be replaced. BBQ available, but this could also be replaced. At reception we received a lot of explanation about the stay and the surroundings, and she was also very helpful with the problems with the TV. She immediately contacted the owner for this, a big compliment for this. Our 14 day holiday flew by, despite the heat, 33 degrees, it was still cool in the house. Definitely worth repeating.”

“Beautiful house, beautiful large garden. Some play equipment. Garden is shared with other house which is on the plot. Owner is friendly and helpful. Minus point the garden is not completely fenced, holes in the fencing. This was important to us.”

“After a long journey we arrived at the location (corner our navigation system knows the street not so been handed a note with directions). We had a good feeling about our stay for the next 2 weeks. The kids were really excited about the present and were able to play after a long ride delicious let off steam. The interior is fine, although dated, but with the exception of some items that could have an upgrade was comfortable and appropriate in the setting of the house. In terms of housekeeping, we were very pleased. Of course there can sit anywhere a spider's web, but with a house if it is not to prevent this as well. The managers were also very friendly and wanted to help. What our home even more would make a villa when horretjes would sit on the windows. Because it is a wooded area there are lots of mosquitoes and other pests. When it is hot would you like to throw as open doors or windows in the evening, but the lack of horretjes does that mean to. Nevertheless, we have greatly enjoyed this holiday and we love this property for another year at least in our minds.”

“House makes a bleak impression with dated furniture and poor lighting (25 watts in "reading lights"). Receipt limited to handing over key. Equipment without instructions (there were six remotes in a corner). Cleaning with French stroke (mouse droppings in the cupboard)”

“The property is ideal for those who love nature, peace. If you do not look at to drive an hour to discover fine slices of this house is ideal, especially since you can keep a perfect day on the spot due to the many amenities (pool, trampoline, swing ...). Cleaning should be much better! Provided a thorough cleaning both inside and outside the residence would be much more enjoyable.”

“A beautiful house in a beautiful spot with a delightful garden with playground for children and a large trampoline (4m diameter) where you can spend your energy fully on. At the house a lovely covered porch with lighting, including a pool table, where gebiljart heart's content can be. The village of St. honores les Bains is small, has a small 8áhuit supermarket, boulangerie, hairdresser, gift / card shop, cafe Vin Cetera with Dutch owners and some small car garages and some with pump. In the environment, what is the best car can be driven, we find in eg. 1 hour drive to the town of Autun which is worth a visit. Lac des Settons for water lovers a beautiful lake with challenges. NIEVRE, which lies on the Loire, struck us as rather against. Moulin Engilbert 10 min. Is a small town with a bigger Supermarché. There are regularly confused messages. And everyone equally cordial and helpful.”

“The cottage itself is quite old, shut the doors are not good, the bathroom is very small, the attic rooms smack your head on the beams and the stairs to the attic is definitely not suitable for older people. However, in terms of decor is fine large TV with all Dutch channels, Wifi is excellent and free, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and even a Senseo coffeemaker. Chairs and sofas are also fine. There are very few tourist attractions in the vicinity (within 200 km). You sit on the edge of the national park and you can ample hiking and cycling. There are even various cycling routes in the area. There are very few restaurants in the area and offer a restaurant was disappointing. Diagonally across the street it is a site where you can eat well and possible. can get a snack or chips. But for the price I had to pay I give it a 7 all together.”

“We see change nature in two weeks. Another week or two on the spot and everything had become completely green. St-Honoré is ideally located in south-Morvan in any hour of the Loire, no hour of Chateau-Chinon (capital of Morvan), close to the Canal du Nivernais, so quiet. We had half a day of discovery had in the Baths of St-Honore, visiting family and friends, many discovered (up in colder northern Morvan) and admired. The nature is untouched and everything so pure and clean. Besides, France is in the countryside so beautiful and nice service. The Green Guide Michelin is definitely recommended. As for the house, we found that the rooms are too small. But we are very satisfied overall.”

About the holiday home

This cozy holiday home is located in Saint-Honore-les-Bains, in France. The home is perfect for a holiday with the whole family. You can also bring a pet. The house is beautifully situated in the middle of woods.

The area is quiet but offers plenty of opportunities for recreation, there is a golf course, the Bourgogne cycle route. Various mountain bike trails and white water canoeing and rafting. You can also visit the Narvau gorges. Via the marked walking route you will discover the beautiful flora and fauna of the Morvan in combination with wooden bridges, rocks, cliffs and a beautiful waterfall. At 200 me is a campsite where you can use the pool, sunbeds and parasol for a small fee.

You have a large garden, where you can barbecue during summers. Kids can have fun on the trampoline and there is also a billiards table. It is also possible to stream audio and video (for example Netflix and YouTube) to the TV. Fiber optic Internet with a high speed through a free WiFi connection.
