“The owner was very nice and nice that there was a Christmas tree, but almost everything else needs to be replaced, see also Rob's review on August 6, sockets hanging out of the wall, toilets in need of replacement, hole in the floor of the upstairs bathroom, shower drain does not drain properly and takes a very long time before you have hot water, door does not open well open, sofas don't look good, bad beds, all the paintwork doesn't look good, TV no Dutch channels and not cleaned well, the only nice thing is the garden and outside of the house, all in all, we have never had such bad accommodation. All this is not clearly visible in the photos. Jolanda Lakerveld”

“The outside of the house and grounds were a solid 9. However, inside the house it was a 4. The house was filthy so my wife cleaned things up first. Such as toilet, kitchen, bathroom and covers washed from the couch that were on it to mask how bad the couches are. If we wanted to bathe our little one, we had to fill the bath twice because rusty water came out of the pipe. Showering in the bath is not possible because then the water sprays between the couplings and it is a large water ballet. Luckily there was another shower. The toilet seats are totally unhygienic and broken. A crack in the toilet bowl. In the bidet we could still see the hair of the previous user. Dining table cloth (top and bottom sheet) were full of stains. The garden furniture left something to be desired. The back door could not open properly because it gets stuck halfway on the floor. Fortunately, we are not overweight, otherwise you can only go out through the front door. It works with violence. The whole house hangs together with "help my husband is handyman solutions". Sockets that hang half out of the wall in the kitchen to TV connection that normally needs to be mounted in a wall just lay on the floor. The washing machine in the basement also worked well. As long as you didn't look at the outside of the machine itself. There are therefore quite a few technical defects that can be labeled as unsafe. This is not convenient with a small child. This is absolutely not a BelVilla and I therefore wonder whether this is checked. A Centerparcs house deserves a higher rating than this house.... And in our opinion is 10x better!”

“House is a bit dated and needs some love to repair some things and to use a lick of paint here and there, many things need to be replaced with some adjustments, it looks a lot better uit.De garden is really super beautiful and very large our daughter of 2 enjoyed the own well and did not want to take it home ;) That makes up for a lot against the house, we also found the location very nice nice and quiet and yet close to the center, the center can be walked to . But a nice climb if you have to go back. We certainly enjoyed ourselves, there is also a lot to do in the area and Dinant itself is also beautiful”

“Fantastic ! The cottage is 1 km from the Citadel. Had a very nice visit. And 5 km from the Lesse, pebble beach. It was a lot of fun watching kayakers. And cool by the water, under the trees. The house is very nice, with really everything you need. There are kitchen towels, wipes, spices, coffee, hair dryer. In short, if you have forgotten something, it is not a problem. We enjoyed the large quiet enclosed private garden. We even had breakfast outside on the pleasant patio furniture. Under the three beautiful trees, with a large fresh canopy. Our Great Dane dog, had the time of her life! We slept well in the quiet quiet rooms. Plumbing was top notch. We'll be back! Was a great holiday!”

“The house was very neat on arrival. Very cozy, in the kitchen everything was there to prepare any meal. Only had a little trouble with flying. The bedrooms are spacious and cozy. Another plus are the bathrooms. And then the garden wow, we had never seen this before. Our dog imagined himself in the seventh heaven. So big and for us alone, fantastic. We will definitely return.”

It's a beautiful house with a huge garden. Very dark "the evening. “Pros large fenced yard, great for our dog and for children aged 11 and 13 years. Living room very atmospheric and cozy. Good Wifi reception! Glad there are 4 single box spring beds beds are available, size 90x200 cm (the traditional French \/ Belgian 2 double beds for us namely always too small! The kids also find a double bed restless sleep.) Also nice that there is sufficient single duvet covers were (in addition to two large duvets). Negatives the kitchen needs to be replaced. Dishwasher and cabinets are outdated (they functioned still). The entry is creaky, so you bother to do to properly close the garden. In the kitchen and one bedroom (where the children's condition), the radiator was broken. Since it 's night and almost froze it was (the living room was fortunately warm) freezing in those areas. Shame there is no shower in the master bathroom (just a bath). There could have been better placed shower wall on the tub rim attached with a shower wall. also, it would have been better to make an extra door from the 2nd bedroom to the bathroom. Now there is a little uninviting bathroom with shower next to the 2nd bedroom made nice big b”

“Nice, quiet holiday in a nice looking authentic house with large garden and beautiful large barn lot of potential within itself. Now unusable. We are sorry ... Facilities functionally okay but dated. Garden fence very nice but so so ... Better fence with a real port are very important for dog owners. It is in this function that we have gemaakt.We this choice enjoyed the quiet and beautiful region. By the early Easter holiday was definitely not high season (again) and therefore certainly not crowded. Especially made fine walks. Friendly welcome by Mrs. E. Bonhome.”

“From the house is plenty to do in the area. In the hall of the house hangs a board full of folders and discounted tickets for excursions in the immediate vicinity (sail on the Maas River, kayaking on the river Lesse, palace gardens of Annevoie, etc.) and a little further away (Bouillon, Bastogne, La Roche, Han caves). Lovely quiet it is here (just once a Belgian fighter practicing), some flies and wasps but that is outweighed by the wonderful garden, the beautiful house with its own spirit and the wonderful silence.”

“Friday afternoon around 15:00 with z 'n celebrate arrived at home in Pierrette Dinant.Eerst Dinant a drink and om16.00 the owner came after us call the latchkey brengen.We were all surprised when we arrived at the house (with around a huge garden) but once inside meer.Zeer yet complete (full kitchen utensils, 2 bathrooms (incl. WC) and a separate toilet on the ground floor) and the living room a spacious open haard.Wij visited Dinant (within walking distance), made walks in the area, went by train across the Bocqspoorweg, enjoy Belgian beers in ao Celles Spontin.De nights and it was fine to stay in the cozy home for the fireplace! We like to come here again.”

“Despite the bad weather we spent a very nice week with our grandson, who has been from the first moment felt at home in the house and the vast manicured garden. Since swimming in the river or canoeing was ruled out (too cold), we have made numerous trips. To the citadel of Dinant, to the steam trains in Marie Bourg, visit the cave La Merveilleuse, a boat trip on the Meuse but absolutely the best thing was the walk through the unsurpassed natural Furfooz. Highly recommended. Please, if you have kids or if you're an amateur caver himself, certainly a hefty flashlight along. The cave of the goat is an adventure an sich.Leuk.”

“We (couple with two dogs) stayed here for a week. The house is located on a quiet road leading to a farm. Very little traffic. For dog owners, a three minute walk away is a forest where you can let out the dogs. Well The house is situated in a well maintained garden with outbuildings. We enjoyed the cherries from the garden. At the back of the garden you have in view of the distant hills and forests. There is a lot of sun in the garden until late. The house itself is a bit dated, but it has charm. The mattresses are bad, you're in a pit. We had no problems with our backs, but can imagine it so. It would also be useful if the owners put some screens on the windows. We had a lot of flies, not one or two but dozens. In itself not so strange in a pasture across the road with cows. We were additional costs € 250 lost. Nearby a lot of possibilities for hiking. You are on the”

This beautiful local stone house is located just minutes from Dinant. Gîte "La Grange d'Herbuchenne" is big enough for 6 people. On warm days you can relax in the beautiful and spacious garden.

You can relax in the area. Visit the countless castles, the Citadel of Dinant or the surrounding nature parks. Rent a bike, kayak or ride a horse and traverse the woods.

Although it has retained all the charm of the 18th century farmhouse, inside the gte you will find all the modern comforts. Large rooms, high ceilings, a cozy fireplace, one bathroom per bedroom and internet connection. On warm days you can relax in the beautiful and spacious garden.
