“A great place to stay with everything you need. Walk-in shower, stable fast internet, dishwasher, microwave and even hand mixer and raclette. The landlady is incredibly friendly. Ideal as a starting point for hikes. We felt at home. The ringing of the church bells didn't bother us either.”

“What a lovely holiday this was. Clean, tidy. Roomy. Equipped with absolutely everything. Up to a washing machine with free use. Nice spacious and clean bathroom. Spacious garden and covered patio, equipped with a large outdoor table, barbeque and other garden furniture. Very friendly reception. The house is very suitable for trips to Saarbrücken and Strasbourg. Recommended!”

“On arrival we were very kindly received by the owners. There was also a nice and tasty gift ready for us. The house is spacious and equipped with everything you need for a dishwasher, which is not on the pictures. Everything was clean and tidy. The surroundings are beautiful and the boat lift which is 4 kilometers away from the cottage is very interesting. In short, had a nice holiday here.”

“The welcome was very warm by the couple. There was a bottle of wine in the fridge as a welcome. On the outside, the house does not look nice; they are still busy renovating. But inside, everything was beautiful, clean and spacious. The house was great and fully equipped. Nice barbecue that we have used a lot. Nice that the bathroom and the toilet are separate. The bathroom was a party for my disabled husband: no thresholds or steps and all the space! Beautiful environment where we have made many motorbike rides. The owner had mapped out some nice routes for us. Small downside was the limited storage space in the kitchen; you could not lose your things like your food. There is a table with 2 chairs in the kitchen; this could be a pantry. A large covered terrace was also nice.”

“The welcome from Mr. and Mrs. Ramm was extremely cordial. We immediately felt at home. Their gite is beautifully situated, fenced and equipped with all comfort. Children can enjoy themselves in the garden: playhouse, trampoline and swing ensure fun. There is a ping-pong table and football game for the youth and adults. The chicken coop is also an attraction in itself. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It is really a top location, highly recommended !!! We could sit outside every meal, even when it was raining. The spacious roof provides sufficient shelter. One evening when we did not get the gas barbecue, the owners did not hesitate for a moment when we called them. After 10 minutes they were with us and we could start our BBQ. Really great people! Numerous excursions are possible in the area. In the house you will find masses of brochures about various activities in the neighborhood. And just a walk from Saint-Louis to an adjacent village is certainly worth it. For more than 20 years we have been renting a cottage, bungalow or But the gite in Saint-Louis stands head and shoulder above it !!!”

The lake of Saint-Louis is located 3km away from the cottage with a recreational area and a boat lift too. Take a day trip to the rock of Dabo 15km away, the Zoo in Sainte Croix 30km away and the city of Sarrebourg 15km away. There are numerous walking and cycling routes around, making it an ideal spot for sports enthusiasts. The town centre is located 10km away and you can easily avail general supplies at a walking distance of 100m.
