The North East Jutland is mainly known for its cosy towns on the eastern coast, for instance Hals Sæby and Frederikshavn. Take your car and go by the coast road to Hals at the mouth of the Limfiord afterwards continuing to Frederikshavn. On your way you drive through a varied landscape very near to the coast. In north east Jutland you will find Voergaard Slot (castle) situated behind the widest moat in Denmark. It is one of the finest and most well-preserved castles from the Renaissance.
