Along the coast road between the popular Towns on Bornholm, Gudhjem and Allinge lies the town, Sandkås and the holiday park, Abildgård. Here you can follow in the footsteps of the German art dealer, Herbert von Gravens, who fled to Bornholm during the Second World War. He settled in the idyllic surroundings of the farm Abildgård in Sandkås. Later, he created an artists' collective that attracted artists such as Carl-Henning Pedersen and Asger Jorn.

The holiday park Abildgård, was later built in front of the farm, and today you can stay in the beautiful surroundings.
