“First time in the Czech Republic, but a very positive experience. Nice park with a wonderful restaurant. "Manager" and restaurant owners speak good English, restaurant you can eat for a small amount +/- 15 euros (2x main menu with drinks). Cottages are fine, has everything you need. I would advise against cooking every day, but a simple pasta dish, for example, can be perfectly cooked with the kitchen utensils that are available. Very nice houses for a holiday with the dog, in the house folder it was described that the dog was not allowed to stay alone in the house. Was not a problem for us, but it was good to discuss this with the owner in advance. There are plenty of beautiful things to see in the area with beautiful hiking trails. The safari park in the area is also recommended, even the dog was allowed to go there on a leash. Not normally in favor of this, but I have to admit that the animals and their enclosures looked exceptionally good. There is also a lake nearby, rozkos; you can sunbathe / swim with the family. The dog is also welcome here. German retail chains such as Kaufland, DM, Kwik etc. are located near Náchod. I will certainly recommend the park (we had house 12, detached with a large field in front of the door, ideal!).”

“July 2020 with child of 4 and 1.5 yr went to Green Valley Park. Had a fantastic experience! We arrived on Saturday with a flat rear tire. The receptionist / caretaker Bohunka arranged that on Sunday (!) We could go to a garage in the area, where we were super helped and where she interpreted. We had had email contact beforehand whether we could get a house with bath and when we indicated that we came with a child of 4 and 1.5, we were also immediately assigned a favorable house relative to the playground and reception. Very nice because the park is spacious, which is really beautiful (the houses a bit further away do have the best view!) And gives a lot of privacy, but so you have to walk a bit longer from some houses for the facilities. But I think it's worth it! The facilities at the park are fantastic for children. Everything is there. There are 3 horses on which both small walk rides and outdoor rides can be ridden. A meadow with 2 goats and 2 sheep and rabbits (who are used to dealing with children). In addition, a large flat playground, also spacious with everything a child wishes: merry-go-round, swings (also for smaller children), sandpit, trampolines, seesaw, bouncy castle, mini golf, climbing frame and slide. There are picnic tables under a large tree and it is possible to put a blanket in the shade. In the playing field (so without a separate fence around it) also the clean and tidy swimming pool (with a slightly higher edge, a child will not just fall in but be careful with children without swimming certificates). The restaurant with something of 12? Tables is wonderfully located (evening sun), has gates around it that can be closed so that our 1.5-year-old child could not constantly leave the terrace. There are 2 slides within this area and a toy cupboard at the desk so that the children had a good time while we ate delicious! Food was really good and super cheap. A delicious main meal for 4-10 euros. Super-friendly service”

“Have a wonderful holiday in a beautiful place. If you like space, peace and nature this is a perfect place. Also in the area a lot to experience. Sandstone rocks, mountains and tobogganing, etc. The children have fun at the park with fishing, swimming, campfire and mountain biking.”
Mr Harmen Baak  (22/8-2016)
“Nice holiday with friendly beherrders. Nice playground for smaller children. Many trips are possible in the area.”
Ms Miranda den Ouden  (25/8-2015)
“Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at the Green Village Park! Incredibly helpful people at the reception. Just cottage where everything is there. Sufficient privacy. Our cottage was quite high, so keep in mind that you have to climb quite with shopping bags etc. But for us that was no problem for disabled people may be less suitable. The pool we mostly had to ourselves. Grounds are very nice and everything good to drive. Visiting Adrspach is definitely recommended!”
C. Diederiks  (27/7-2014)
“A very nice holiday, but small scale, but the young people are from the village also play and it is very busy in and around the pool. Beautiful surroundings and lots to see. Very nice zoo and rocks worth.”

We have really enjoyed our stay in Starkov.Het reception at Green Valley Park was all heart thing. “The Green Valley Park in Starkov is a nice small park. Very friendly staff, good English and Dutch interns in addition. The cottage was clean and well equipped. Supermarkets in the area every day from 8 to 20 pm Open: handy upon arrival at the weekend. Restaurant in Starkov is good and tasty. A day trip to Prague is also doing well by train from Cerveny Kostelec (direct connection). This park is an absolute must.”
I. Düztas  (1/8-2013)
“Had read a lot of reviews and there was a good feeling going. The reality was as expected. Cottage was neat and clean with the necessary privacy. My kids aged 3 and 5 were walking hand in hand toward the playground. They've had the time of their lives. All that green that freedom just super !! They still want to return. Personally, I could see them from the terrace while enjoying a cup of coffee. Lots to see nearby.”
A. de Vries  (1/8-2013)
“This house is in a nice park in a beautiful area. It is a quiet park, with child-friendly facilities. The big downside is that the house is on top of a mountain and your car in the parking lot should leave. they bring your bags at the cottage, further you walk up the mountain on an unstable grevelpaadje. Further, the top! nice house with a beautiful balcony and watch as you sit on the balcony. The beds are fine. At the reception are great tips for trips.”
J. Draat  (30/7-2013)
“Great holiday, green valley does to its name. Spacious park. house equipped. Nice people at the reception. We include. went to the rock area of \u200b\u200bAdrspach and that's pretty amazing.”
M. ten Zende  (29/7-2013)
“Spacious resort with large houses surrounded by nature. Interior cabins are basic and simple, but everything you need is available. Lovely terrace before. For children there is a playing field (football, trampoline, etc.) and a small swimming pool. On the terrace is available delicious coffee and soft drinks. Park is especially for peace-seekers and nature lovers.”
R.J. Nieuwenkamp  (18/7-2013)
“Had a top holiday. Apartment very nice and tidy. Ideal holiday for families with children up to 14 years. Lots to do and see. Big fish caught and delicious ridden. Horses were well looked after. Very beautiful nature. Recommendations are: adrspach (rocks), Dvur Kralove Zoo (), Janské Lazne (Monkey Park, Pec Snezkou Very friendly reception by a Dutch host Luggage was neat with a car brought up "evenings deer around the house...”
T.N. Gratama  (20/6-2013)
“A well-kept house to stay in and a very friendly staff member at the park. The village Starkov has a cozy restaurant, and larger towns nearby. Furthermore, the park is a good base to explore the Giant Mountains, especially in the sandstone is very nice walk.”
L.F. Rensen  (20/8-2012)
“The house is very spacious, excellent toilet facilities and neatly decorated. The park has a small swimming pool and a playground where our children aged 12, 10 and 7 years have a lot of fun especially the trampoline was favorite, there were more Dutch children and every evening there was a campfire and they did games. All spontaneous and not organized entertainment really came from the children zelf.Overdag much walked stunning setting the rock cities were supper”

About the holiday home

You'll stay in one of the comfortable and modern holiday homes at Green Valley Park, where, as the name suggests, you'll be surrounded by gorgeous green hills. Each house has a tidy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and its own balcony where you can enjoy the view. With three bedrooms and a spacious bathroom, there's plenty of space for large families.

Children in particular will love the park's facilities: there's a large fenced playground, a swimming pool, playing fields, and a recreation room. There's a fishing pond for fish lovers (no permit needed) and horse-drawn carriage rides are available regularly. The park has its own café with outdoor seating where you can sit down for a drink and a snack. During the high season, you can even go on guided trips to Prague or Poland.

Apart from taking the cycling and walking routes, driving by car is a great way to explore the area as well. For instance, there are restaurants and supermarkets in Starkov and Hronov (5 miles). Náchod (10.6 miles) and Trutnov (16.2 miles) are also worth visiting. And if you're looking for more natural beauty to enjoy, visit Adrspach's sandstone rocks.

The interior of the accommodation can differ slightly from the pictures. However, the level of comfort is as described
