The owner personally contacted us so that we could have their number and received handy PDF files with an explanation of the cottage and to do's Opening the key box was very easy if you follow the instructions. The cottage is detached and nice and quiet, that there is no wifi did not bother us at all to fully relax :) know how to handle stoves), and the cottage was very clean! everything available in the kitchen what you need and the rooms were very proper.A very pleasant stay and great contact with the landlords. TOP!”

“Beautiful house in a very quiet location. Adequate rooms, bathrooms and supplies. It was not clear how to get the key on arrival. May also be cleaned thoroughly. Had a short circuit when using the coffee machine. We contacted Belvilla and the landlord came by, but we did not see this.”

“Nice and cozy house. 5 bedrooms for 2 persons, each with its own washing facility, is a luxury. Obtaining a key with a code is very useful. Good location, close to highway (not too close) and beautifully secluded. Some disadvantages: short circuit when using coffee machine, difficult to heat downstairs, dishwasher does not work properly, can be cleaned more thoroughly (dirt under bed). We had a pleasant stay, but since the house was difficult to heat, we will not stay here again.”

“Nicely situated house, near beautiful forests. Large garden where the children can enjoy themselves. House seems a bit small for 10 people (we were there with 2 adults and 2 children). House is good and fully equipped. Recently renovated but already showing signs of wear (kitchen cupboards, showers). During our stay there was quite a bit of odor from the septic tank - that will hopefully be resolved soon by the owner.”

Despite you specify the exact location, Benjamin indicates to the landlord that there is nothing there. He does not want to return it, or is unable to do so because, for example, the cleaner has stolen it. In any case, I think it's scandalous.”

“On arrival the villa was available and tidy. Very handy that the key is on site in the number lock box. Environment is beautiful and very quiet. No direct neighbors. House has been very nicely renovated. Beautiful area for cycling and walking. Recommended bike ride (Raval 126 Ciney - Huy). The only negative point is that there is too little garden furniture and the 3 sun loungers provided are found to be very uncomfortable.”

“Accommodation and environment fantastic. but on arrival we could not handle the key box. We had set the dials to the correct code and then the business pulled over, but nothing happened. After a phone call someone was sent to the house and it turned out that we had to pull a tab forward, after which the keys could be taken out. A good explanation in advance could have prevented a lot of waiting. Furthermore, the dishwasher worked poorly. The fixed work was not completely clean and everything was soaked. Upon further investigation, it was found that the waste filters were completely clogged. After much scraping and brushing, we cleaned them as well as possible. After that it was much better, but not completely dry. We think that some cleaning should also be done deeper. Please check the filters when cleaning the house.”

About the holiday home

In the middle of the field, to the edge of a large forest, this beautiful holiday home in Rochefort perfect stay to the lovers of comfort and tranquility. With 5 bedrooms, a well-equipped open kitchen, and a terrace this home can host a group of up to 10 people.

Marche-en-Famenne town centre is 5 km away. If you would like to go for a picnic on the creekside, la Lesse River is only a short drive away.

The home has been completely renovated and everything is there for your comfort: excellent beds, sanitary facilities in each room, fully equipped kitchen, nice wood floors, laundry room. Each room has beautiful countryside views. On the nice terrace, you can enjoy a good barbecue in a peaceful setting while the children play table tennis in the playroom. The wood stove is only decorative (no fire possible).

Guests can check-in from 4-6 PM whereas check-out can be done between 9-10 AM.

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
