“Beautiful, cosily furnished house, with a spacious sunny garden. All rooms are comfortably furnished with private sanitary facilities and good beds. A minus for us was the kitchen. A large kitchen with lots of equipment and features. But everything is chaotically crammed into the cupboards. Unfortunately, essential things are missing. We were present with 9 people and there are too few soup plates, too few glasses, 1 wine glass...”

We already read it in previous reviews: -Oven and extractor hood broken -It is an incomplete mess in terms of furnishings, cutlery, etc. -All cushions of the chairs and sofas in the living room really need to be replaced- The house was absolutely not clean, old cobwebs everywhere. Really a shame, it is a very nice place in terms of location and tranquility.”

Furthermore, blissful in terms of space, layout and atmosphere. Each has its own sanitary facilities, which is rather rare. Superb location for beautiful walks. A place for the real peace seeker. In short, a topper, but .... with work to do.”

“We had booked a stay with 4 couples. Upon arrival at the very beautiful location, it turned out that the house, nice and quiet, was absolutely NOT clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms were in order! The rest of the house was downright dirty!! Very dirty windows ! Very dirty terrace! Everything inside covered in dust and not clean! Needing something in the kitchen ended up with a veritable search through all the dirty and cluttered cupboards. We are sorry for this otherwise pleasant house.”

“On arrival we immediately noticed that the kitchen had not been cleaned or was insufficiently cleaned. Cheese remnants on the floor, dirty cupboards, no washed refrigerator. Also the kitchen cupboards are very dirty along the inside, food remains are present. Cobwebs and dirty windows... When signaling to the responsible, he could do nothing but report this to the owner. Apparently this was not the first comment from tenants, unfortunately without consequence. Then bought a Detol bus to disinfect the necessary ...”

About the holiday home

This 5-bedroom holiday home is a private hunting lodge in Viroinval, in the beautiful Belgian Ardennes region. Featuring a private furnished garden with a barbecue to enjoy, it is ideal for a group of 9, large families, or two smaller families.

The forests offer a perfect spot for a picnic. The biodiversity is amazing and you can even arrange for a barbecue in the woods. During the stay, visit the nearby places like Couvin, the Cave of Neptune, and Chimay with its abbey and beer.

Enjoy the morning sun and evening barbecue on the furnished terrace. When it is cold outside, you can relax in front of the stove in the living room. The dining room and modern kitchen have a fireplace for a cozy atmosphere. All bedrooms have attached bathrooms and quality bedding. One pet is welcome. Parking is also arranged.

Check-in between 4 – 6 PM and check-out between 9 – 10 AM.

It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house
