This large farmhouse is located in Lavacherie has 13 bedrooms and can house 41 people, ideal for a family, a large group of friends or a workgroup this holiday home has a heated indoor swimming pool.

Located in Ardennes this house is nearby some great walking and mountain biking routes. Ideal for starting a long peaceful walk this pace is just 5 km from the lake. Forest is just a stone’s throw away whereas restaurants and tourist information can be found 10 km from the house.

The house comes equipped with almost everything you may need in a vacation. With a large parking for 20 cars you also get a beautiful large garden. With a sauna. The house also has playroom where you can enjoy table tennis, foosball and billiards.

The place is a km away from the townhouse while public transport can be found 20 km from the house.

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
Reservations for groups of persons under 25 years of age are not permitted

“The WIFI connection was very poor. Because I also had to work from there behind my laptop, this was very sad. When I spoke to the owner about it, she gave her personal opinion instead of looking for a solution. Furthermore, the rooms were so dirty. When you raise the mattress you see all kinds of dust and even cobwebs. So the villa is not cleaned properly at all, even though you pay a lot for it. There was way too much chlorine in the swimming pool, which caused the children to have red eyes and coughing. The amount they ask per night is certainly not in proportion to what you get for it. The apples from the apple tree in the garden were delicious!”

“Very nice big house where we had a very nice weekend. Large living room and dining room, professional and well equipped kitchen, large games room and also a great swimming pool. The bedrooms have been renovated and are better than the photos. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy the large garden due to the bad weather. However, there are also some downsides: in some rooms there is a leak in the skylight and the changing rooms at the pool are sauna and sanitary in lesser condition.However, we are thinking of booking this place again for another weekend.”

“Perfect space for all. Everything worked. The swimming pool was a great success. Small problem: the ventilation in the bathrooms does not work properly. Other guests have reported the same thing to me. In mine, I also noticed a smell of Persistent mold/moisture. I think it was "deer". The owner should have the airflow of his extractor checked.Very pleasant garden, which the children really liked.Finally, this village is quiet and the traders very welcoming.”

The only downside was a very dirty barbeque grill, which we cleaned ourselves and left unpolished, so not a big problem in itself. Refund of deposit after deduction of consumption and cleaning costs went smoothly. Very nice environment. Definitely recommended for a group of 40 people.”

“The house itself is very beautiful. But some places were not clean, the communication was very bad and nobody was there when we checked out, we should just drive, I have not received any notification until now, 14 days later, how much electricity, gas and water we used and have to pay, and I have to trust blindly, because we couldn't read the final count, something like that is actually absurd. House top - wrap-up flop”

“Very spacious and cozy house. All renovated rooms, each with a private bathroom. Huge kitchen with a super sized fridge! The living room is also nicely furnished! We would like to come back. Too bad the coffee machine didn't work and no one could explain to us exactly how it worked. The pool could also be a bit warmer. The jacuzzi was broken, very unfortunate! We didn't get any financial discount for that either. Sauna worked very well and we had a great time. There are also plenty of activities to do in the area. . The house was clean and tidy and there was plenty of crockery. There were even champagne glasses available!!! Thank you very much but we would like to stay until at least 10am. After all, the cleaning crew can start elsewhere. Pleasant Concierge! Recommended!!!”

Conny, the owner, was very nice at reception, explained everything we needed to know and we could enjoy, The style is extended throughout the house, the jacuzzi was lovely and in principle everything is there for a carefree stay, The dishwasher was broken and not repaired when we arrived, but Conny had a solution for that, We could put the dirty dishes in the utility room, where they could open the door from the outside and get the dishes without disturbing us and return them clean, What a service! We will come back here!”

“We, a 90 year old mother and her family (36 people) had a super fantastic weekend. The guest address is located in a beautiful region and offers many possibilities, especially for families and large groups. For example, various walks from the village center and depending on the composition of the group are certainly recommended. After a walk of almost 10 KMS our children still enjoyed the swimming pool and garden. The spacious game room was also top-notch. Of course, the sun has also created an unforgettable family weekend, where everyone could find what they wanted. The youth has provided a barbecue and whoever wanted to even eat outside in the evenings under the awning of the terrace. So simply super. Perhaps we should have asked responsible instructions for this. For us, definitely an address to remember.”

“Minus deposit must be paid in cash. 1000 euros is very much Gas / energy / cleaning has to be paid in cash afterwards and is very high (600 euros) However, the most important thing is the following We have been there for a number of years. No maintenance will be carried out. Beds are sagged, it was dirty now, there is mold everywhere in the sanitary areas. 1 shower was blocked (reported) and despite the promise of repair, nothing came. Zeam bath was dirty, mold on the walls everywhere and the lines of the pool and bubble bath was broken so the children injured their feet”

“Accomodation is top for a large group. Plenty of space, pool table, football table and a pool that is frequently used. Large garden. The house is fully voorzien.We have the family great to our liking.There is really only one big minus and that is the schoonmaak.Die really gets a big enough! Toilets in the rooms and the shared toilets downstairs were very dirty! A lot of dust and spiderweb everywhere. There was clearly no mopping. Considering that you can only enter the house at 6 o'clock and have to be out by 9 o'clock and 300 euro will be charged for the cleaning we expect more of it.This also indicated at Ardennes Relais and on departure from the house to the one who came to make the electricity bill. Good to realize for future tenants is that almost 1000 euros must be settled at the end of the week for water and electricity!”

“Perfect holiday home. We had a wonderful week with our group of friends of 27 adults and 10 children under 10 years. Lovely pool where the whole day was swimming. A nice Dutch speaking man came every day to check the pool with him we could also ask for questions. The professional catering dishwasher was also a godsend. A washing up was done in 3 minutes. Things that I would recommend to improve there is no washing machine. With children that is a loss. There were also no big glasses where you can pour a special beer, only wine glasses. In terms of towels, we found 1 towel per person very little for a whole week. Especially because there is no washing machine and you are still in the pool every day. Also take into account high energy costs. In a week where the temperature did not drop below 25 degrees, we lost more than 900 euros. It is a pity that this is always exclusive in Belgium. There was still confusion when we checked out because we had to pay for these energy costs and cleaning costs in cash. This was not clearly communicated to us, so we had to pay this in addition to the 1000 euro deposit that we had already given at the beginning of the week. All in all a wonderful holiday and the environment is beautiful so definitely recommended.”

“Person who handed us the key (and gave the tour) spoke unfortunately only French while it was mentioned that NL, Fr and Eng spoken. The house is very spacious, beautiful garden, large well equipped kitchen, each room has its own bathroom, play area, large living room and large swimming pool (unfortunately jacuzzi paying). In short, everything we needed for our family weekend with varying ages from 8 to 80 years. Unfortunately a big minus the cleaning is 300 euros (which is enough) but then we also liked that the accommodation was "clean"! Unfortunately, it seemed as if the kitchen and the floor had only been cleaned on the ground floor. Everywhere wires to the walls, picking dust on the bedrooms, plumbing not cleaned, ... Despite this we had great weekend, lots of swimming, the play area was often used and we have walked a lot in the beautiful surroundings. Also have to email and call repeatedly to get our deposit refunded. After 7 weeks finally got in order!”
