“What a beautiful place to stay and also the host Quinten is very kind and helpful. He welcomes you with enthusiasm and a nice welcome package. Villa Mandala has everything we needed for our stay, a warm cosy place with a fireplace, a well equiped kitchen with all amenities even a wine climate fridge. Everything is present to cook! Really good pans, none of them are old. Lots of (very good wine) glasses and cutlery, kitchen equipment like a fryer, blender, mixer, grill plate. A washer and a dryer and a lot of towels for the sauna and whirlpool. And a really large garden for our dog Luther which he enjoyed a lot! This is one of the few accommodations that was so complete in our experiences with other ones. Thank you Quinten”

Vriendelijke gastheer die uitgebreid uitleg geeft over huis en activiteiten, supermarkten, restaurants,… in de buurt. In de keuken is alles aanwezig, er is echt aan alles gedacht! Zelfs aan keukenhanddoeken enz… ook is alles voorzien voor kinderen van spelletjes voor binnen en buiten tot een speeltoestel en trampoline. Het was een super verblijf!!!”

“Our stay was in tip-top shape! The house is clean, tidy, equipped with everything (kitchen utensils, washing machine, dryer, jacuzzi, sauna, barbecues, full gas tank and clean frying oil). On arrival we were given a tour of the house with an explanation of all equipment and then very useful tips about the area in terms of sights, sports activities (we are a family with 2 kids) and restaurants. Also credit to the home owner Quentin. Our son unfortunately broke his wrist, but Quentin called an ambulance for us and went to the hospital to act as an interpreter. If you come across this house, don't wait or hesitate, but book!! It has everything in a positive sense!”

“Had a nice stay at Villa Mandala. Everything you want or need is available. Towels, bed linen, kitchen utensils, baby bed, baby chairs, baby bed, previous coffee makers, plancha, fryer, BBQ, toaster, ... and so much more. Just as well or even better equipped than at home. Everything well maintained and clean. The garden is very large with a trampoline and playground which was very popular with the children. Beautiful location for beautiful walks. Good base for exploring the region. Not too far from everything, but far enough for peace. On arrival we received a good explanation from the owner. Very friendly person who was ready for all possible questions. There is a good chance that we will return again. We had a great time.”

“We had a fantastic stay at Villa Mandala. I'm going to repeat myself, but as described in the many reviews, the villa is super inclusive. There is bed linen, an abundance of bath linen, hand soap, dishwasher tablets, games, jeu de boulle balls, everything for (small) children, but the kitchen facilities were also very complete (including a deep fryer with fresh oil). We were very kindly received by the owner with a magnum bottle of champagne. He really took the time to familiarize you with the house, but also to introduce you to activities in the area and good addresses in terms of food and groceries. The contact before and after was also very good. The house is in a quiet area with a beautiful view. With 15 minutes you are either in Houffalize or in La Roche en Ardenne. There are plenty of options in terms of outings or hiking trails for a nice walk. But actually you don't have to leave the villa given the beautiful garden, the wonderful sauna and the jacuzzi. During our stay we had a lot of problems with flies in the first days, but if you get or take enough fly spray with you and keep this up to date every day, it is very easy to manage. In short, highly recommended!!!”

“We had an excellent stay at Villa Mandala. A very nice quiet area with lots of nature, a beautiful view and an environment where there is a lot to do. There was also plenty to do for the children. It is very nice that the garden is fenced, so you do not have to keep an eye on the children. The house is very attractive and fully equipped. For us there were two negatives. The huge amount of flies. You cannot open the doors because then there are 10 to 20 inside. On the terrace on the side it smelled like the sewer. This came from the downspout. This may have been due to the warm weather.”

About the holiday home

Located in Ardennes, this is a 3-bedroom holiday home with a sauna and a bubble bath to relax in after an active day. The holiday home is perfect for a family with children or couples travelling together, a total of 6 persons. Then the weather is nice, you can linger in the spacious fully-fenced garden, play ball games, enjoy the sun, and have a nice dinner

During summer, the surrounding nature area is fantastic for walking and cycling. It's easy to reach lovely places like La Roche-en-Ardenne and Houffalize, and the famous Achouffe brewery. In winter you can take part in some winter sports in Baraque de Fraiture.

The home's open kitchen comes with a coffee machine to make meals of your choice. From the roofed terrace, you can admire the view over the beautiful green hills while relaxing or enjoying a glass of wine or beer.. You can savor barbecued meals in the evenings. Parking is available.

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
