“We had a great week with the family at the "Carpe Diem" house in Redu (Belgium). The beautiful weather played an important role in this, but that certainly also applied to our holiday home. Located in the quiet Ardennes book village of Redu, not far from the E411/A4. Green area with walking possibilities. Home Carpe Diem offered a lot: an indoor swimming pool, which could be opened in good weather, a jacuzzi, a wellness area in the basement (sauna, infrared sauna, hammam. showers). Four bedrooms on floors 1 and 2, all with shower and/or bath. The house was clean and appeared to be equipped with many attributes (including cot, high chair, kitchen utensils, etc.). Beautiful, secluded, fenced backyard. The owner / manager was very friendly and approachable. All in all a recommended accommodation!”

“The arrival was very cordial and the accommodation looked great. The village of Redu is cozy with a wonderful bakery and tasty restaurants. And by driving a bit by car there is plenty to discover. (We have even visited France and later also Luxembourg). Unfortunately, there were only 2 Dutch channels on the TV so we made a chromecast the day after arrival so that we could still watch Dutch TV and Netflix via mobile / tablet in the evening (we took it home after our stay) ). Furthermore, the house is very complete, although some more long drink glasses and drinking mugs would be desirable. (there was really a lot of kitchen utensils available, but we didn't find a cheese slicer, so this will be a typical Dutch thing🤣) The cottage is very special due to the wellness area in the basement, and I would recommend new guests enough shampoo etc. to take with you so that you do not always have to walk with your toilet supplies from the bathroom on the 1st floor to the wellness in the basement. (there are also two shower cubicles at the bottom of the wellness area). And of course don't forget to bring a delicious sea salt scrub for after the delicious hammam! Oh yes, I would almost forget to say that yes at the end of the stay the obligatory bed and towel package of € 90 euros must be paid in cash + the electricity costs (this was about 100 euros with us). We were there with our children + supporters of 19, 18, 18, 17, 12 and 11 years. They all had a great time both in the house (wellness and of course nice and long sleep) and outside the house. We came home wonderfully rested. A must for everyone.”

About the holiday home

Situated near the town centre, this holiday home rests in Redu. It features several terraces around the house to enjoy the sun all day long and a private bubble bath for relaxation. It is ideal for large families with children or 2 small families staying together. There is an indoor swimming pool, private and heated, open from March 15 till October 31, for you to enjoy a refreshing dive.

Enjoy a walk along into the Belgian Ardennes region and cherish nature at its best. The town centre with good restaurants is at 0.1 km. You can enjoy a picnic by River Lesse just 1.5 km away. For trips, the towns of Maissin, Daverdisse, and Libin are ideal.

There is a fireplace in the living room to spend cosy evenings. For entertainment, you have a recreation room equipped with a billiards table. In the evenings, you can light up the barbecue in the garden for a gala time. Cot and high chair are provided. Parking is available.

You can check-in between 4 to 6 PM and check-out between 9 to 10 AM.

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
