About the holiday home

Located in Roumont, this pet-friendly castle comes with 5 bedrooms, central heating, and a furnished garden. It is ideal for a group of 10 or families with children to stay.

It is a paradise to enjoy perfect peace. Go for a walk in the forest and enjoy the wild nature. The lake is a short drive away for a swim in the hot afternoon. The town center is 5 km. You can enjoy local cuisine from restaurants at 6 km. The supermarket at 6 km is well-stocked for all your daily needs.

Enjoy a comfortable stay in this well-furnished home. The central heating, hallway, and the living room with TV and stereo unit give a cozy ambiance. All the bedrooms are spacious with comfortable single beds and kids are provided with a high chair. 2 pets are allowed at € 1,50/Pet/Night. To relax and enjoy nature and the sun, there is a beautifully furnished garden. The parking facility is also arranged.

Public transport is at 14 km.

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

“Let's be honest: the building and the furnishings are dated, but that is also the charm of this house. Only the sanitary facilities (bathrooms and toilets) we really don't think are acceptable in 2024. The kitchen is large and comfortable, everything you need is present and in sufficient quantities. The living space is cozy, although the dining table is on the small side, and the wood stove (bring your own wood) makes it even more fun. The beds are comfortable. A beautiful large garden, the accessibility is a bit less, and in the fall you have to sit all the way at the back to enjoy the sun. The surroundings are great. You are directly in the vast forests, you don't have to take the car to make beautiful walks.”

“The location was beautiful, the surroundings too. The bedrooms and living room were fine. The kitchen was a bit mediocre for a 10-person house. There was insufficient kitchen utensils such as coffee cups and the dishwasher did not function properly. The garden was really little more than a lawn full of molehills with a table and some chairs. Nothing to play for children. Since the price is not high, the price-quality ratio is good.”

“We stayed for a week in this charming house, because of Corona we were only there with three (my husband, my five-year-old daughter and myself) but the cozy decor we also enjoyed it with our small family, On arrival we found everything neat and clean and the rooms were heated, We were sorry that we could not regulate the thermostat ourselves (it was locked at 19 degrees), but had brought enough wood for the stove in the living room, so we were warm enough in the evening The garden and the view are beautiful!And you can also take beautiful walks, close to home or after a short journey by car, We could enjoy a snowy landscape and made several trips for even more snow fun in Saint-Hubert, around Bastogne ,,,, Extra plus points for us were the excellent WiFi connection and the new gas stove with large oven,”

“The key was neatly prepared and the attractive house with beautiful courtyard was already wonderfully warm. Appropriate decor and completely furnished. The upper floor in particular is impressive with its long corridor. We were 9 adults and 1 baby. The area is beautiful: you can walk straight into the woods. “Arrival everything clear, you can enter yourself with the key. Everything is a bit old and expired. The area is beautiful, unfortunately we had bad weather.so we could not enjoy it much.”

“We stayed there with the family on the weekend from 21 to 23 June 2019. Because we did not know exactly in advance how many children and grandchildren would make the trip, we received permission from the owner to put up a tent in the large garden if necessary place. Given the nice weather we were usually in the garden where 2 large tables, benches, garden chairs and even a barbecue are available. The accommodation is correct and the kitchen is very complete. The area is beautiful. Unfortunately, we found the tourist information rather accidentally only upon departure in a slider of the coffee table. A good hiking map e.g. on the smartphone is definitely recommended. We only saw after a very large detour with even a short walk along the dangerous N4, that there is a direct but not indicated path to the Ourthe in the village itself. Finally, we point to the more than correct handling of our stay. One of the guests forgot a portfolio that was sent very quickly and securely. The deposit has since been refunded.”
