“For the 2nd time in this beautiful residence. Now in the fall. Enjoy the peace and space. All facelities are present for a relaxing time. If you like peace, space, nature and silence, this is a very suitable place. The commotion of durby is close by. Fireplace makes it very cozy in the evening. The Wi-Fi is very good, so contact with the emotional distant outside world is quickly established”

“We were lucky with nice weather when we stayed here and that's why the beautiful surroundings came into its own. You can find absolute peace here. The house was clean and nicely decorated, you can see that they have put a lot of work into it and not just put some furniture in it that doesn't match. Bedrooms were also spacious and it's nice that there are 2 showers for 8 guests. We found the only downside that the wall between the bathroom and the main bedroom is poorly insulated, so you could hear it well when someone flushed the toilet or used the shower. The boiler under the room also switches on regularly at night, which is quite disturbing. There were also too few garden chairs. For the rest, we can't really say anything bad about this house, we have already enjoyed it!”

“Beautiful and cozy house, peace and unspoiled nature If you are looking for peace, wild nature and a cozy, beautiful house, you have definitely come to the right place. The house is located on a large property with meadows with horses and untouched nature. The owners are very friendly, live in the other wing, the middle part of the large building is uninhabited and you have complete privacy. The house is cozy, spacious and comfortable. At about 10 minutes is a small supermarket with a wide range. There are several large supermarkets and shops in Aywaille, about 20 minutes away. The WiFi is not very good, but this was of secondary importance to us. If you are looking for peace, wild nature and a cozy, beautiful house, you've definitely come to the right place. The house is located on a large property with meadows with horses and untouched nature. The owners are very friendly, live in the other wing, the middle part of the large building is uninhabited and you have complete privacy. The house is cozy, spacious and comfortable. At about 10 minutes is a small supermarket with a wide range. There are several large supermarkets and shops in Aywaille, about 20 minutes away. The Wifi is not very good but this was of minor importance to us.”

“The house is amazingly large with all amenities. Nice big couch and fireplace. The house is in the forest, environment is entirely for yourself. No neighbors or noise. Only nature. Fun places 30 minutes away. The store is a fifteen minute drive away, great for shopping, there is nothing else. An environment that looks foreign, friendly people, beautiful nature. Really special at such a short distance from the Netherlands. For us to be repeated. If you like peace, nature and freedom a beautiful house. The rest of the castle is in need of a makeover. contact with other holiday makers and good wifi .... Then you have to look further.”

“Beautiful large house in a beautiful setting. In the middle of the forest with lots of privacy.Large bedrooms and ample seating in the living room and at the dinner table.Shower above is very good, shower downstairs seems to have little water pressure so that a minimum amount of water comes out.”

“The house is comfortable and lies wonderfully between forests and meadows with horses. There is a nice sun terrace with a large dining table and chairs for 8. With views of the hills. Lots of birds. The house has a rustic, farm-like atmosphere and has a generous dining kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped, for example, a bar mixer (but a bread knife was missing). There are 4 twin beds (with good beds) and 2 showers and 1 bath. Two wcs, one of which is in a bathroom and 1 apart on the ground floor (ground floor). There is also a shower, which is a little awkward. There is wifi but not in all rooms. The living room is simply furnished You have to drive to the baker by car, there are two to 6/7 km away, and for groceries you have to go there and huge Carrefour in Aywaille. You can do a lot of walks through the carriageway. The house and the surrounding area there are many walking cards in the house. There is a good working wood stove from the manager, you get a nice basket of woods. Take your own production boxes and matches. Ferrieres is a nice square with a organic bakery and a Fries .. In that village is also a Delhaize, which is well-equipped. The manager is very friendly and lives next door, in the other wing of the "chateau" that is actually more a neglected manor farm. Certainly, "good value For money ".”

“We had a very nice stay here with 4 couples and 2 kids. Nice that all couples have separate bedrooms, there are several bathrooms and the floor could be closed pretty good (door at the top of the stairs). Super location also in the forest and no neighbors. Wifi works pretty well, but not everywhere. The host was super sympathetic and did his best to talk Dutch. For the cost, we were warned, but that fell to us that bad (60 euros for the week). So if you like a little observant and close the doors, not much danger. Spacious kitchen and living room, large table. Cool!”

Set in the outbuildings of a castle, this cottage in Fays is ideal for a relaxed vacation of a large group. 4 bedrooms can sleep 8 people here. There is a private garden to enjoy the relaxed surroundings and a pond to sit by and enjoy nature.

A forest 100 m away is the perfect place to go for walks or treks. You can also buy essentials 5 km away apart from eating delicious food and enjoying nightlife. There is a lake 10 km away, where you can go for picnics.

Enjoy your meals in the garden outside. There is barbecue available for your grilled delicacies. A playpen and table tennis table is also there for your recreation indoors. A pond is also there so that you can enjoy sitting by the side and just having your “me” time. Washing machine is also there so that you don’t have to worry about laundry.
