About the holiday home

Located in the Cetturu area in Ardennes, this holiday home with 6 bedrooms, a private sauna, private pool, and a beautiful garden with a barbecue is great for families with children.

The house is completely private, so you will be away from prying eyes as you spend time with family. Stunning views of the valley on both sides of the home welcome you. You can even go for a hike or go cycling through the numerous mountain bike trails nearby. You can also relax on the spacious terrace and enjoy the barbecue. Comfortably use the pool which is normally heated between June and September. Unheated in the winter months, but still available for a cooling dip after using the sauna.

With ample space for 12 people, the garden has a heated swimming pool (June-September) which looks out into a beautiful meadow. The pool is not heated in the winter months, but still available for a cooling dip after using the sauna. You can buy general supplies at the town centre which is about 9 km away, where you will also be able to find restaurants if you want to eat out. There is also a lake about 10 km away.

The nearest airport is Verdun-Le Rozelier Airport in France which is 45 km away. Other forms of public transport can also be found around 9 km away at the town centre.

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

“There were 8 of us in the house. The house was great! The facilities were more than lavish. The rooms were beautifully furnished and really comfortable. Even in bad weather, 10-12 people could easily have sat inside on the spacious couch area or at the large wooden table. The sauna was used despite the nice weather. The terrace with a view of the deer enclosure and the spacious, very well-kept garden was simply a dream. The icing on the cake, however, was the pool. And even my dog had great fun in the garden looking for little mice.”

“We lacked nothing in La Maison d"Helene. It really is a beautiful house with lots of space and certainly enough bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything was very neatly finished and everything was provided. Communication went very smoothly and last-minute adjustments were no problem Swimming pool was wonderfully heated and we certainly enjoyed it. Plenty of sunbeds for everyone. I would definitely recommend it, we will definitely come back!”

“Had a wonderful weekend in this house, we were 6 couples. Enough space. Beautiful views. Beautiful walks. Extremely quiet. There are deer in the garden, which is quite unique. The swimming pool and the interior have just been freshened up, which cannot yet be seen in the photos. The welcome was personal and warm. The only minor downsides could be: For the sixth bedroom you have to go through the fifth. The rented part is the ground floor and not the entire building as shown in the photos. The nearest cafe is more than 5 km away.”

But the place needs maintenance, an id-link as wifi for a house with up to 12 people? The out door shower for the pool was out of order. The coverage aside the pool needs maintenace as well.”

“Nothing but praise !!! We had a great week with our children and grandchildren. Each family had its own bathroom and then that long table outside. We imagined ourselves with that beautiful view in a commercial which was shot in Italy. Given the very hot weather this week, the pool was a welcome refreshment. well organized and the few questions we had during the week were always answered in a friendly and efficient way. Finally a great kitchen, where we, the children and the older grandchildren could prepare their chosen menu. 1 tip for the owner. the exit to the outside with a screen door, because oh oh there were so many flies !!”
